In the multivariate analysis, fibromyalgia proved to be an independent factor linked to anxiety (OR = 2.99, p < 0.05), while older age resulted independently linked to depression at the limits of significance (OR = 1.03, p = 0.05).

At the follow-up, we found a statistically significant improvement in edema (p < 0.0001), in the sum of the segments with edema (p = 0.01), in the LGE (p = 0.0004), and, at the limits of significance, in the sum of the LGE segments involved (p = 0.05). 3.2.

In cases in which P values for α were at the limits of significance (0.05 ≤ P ≤ 0.1; joint swelling day 29, cartilage damage day 8), the statistical power of the U test was determined using the actual difference at a given time point as delta.

Generally speaking it seems to us unbelievable that a risk assessment carried out only on forty rats of each sex receiving GM rich diets for 90 days (yielding results often at the limits of significance) have not been repeated and prolonged independently.

The HLA-DQ2.2 allele appears to confer protection, while the HLA-DQ2.5 allele has a weak association at the limits of significance and the strongly associated HLA-DRB1 04 haplotype is in LD with HLA-DQ7.3 and not with HLA-DQ8[ 73 , 74 ].

sGFAP showed a trend comparable to sNfL, with some exceptions: sGFAP-D1 correlated with NIHSS, FAC and FIM scales evaluated at M1 and M3, but for motor FIM sub-scale the correlation was at the limits of significance at M3.

However, the results were at the limits of significance and the performance and interpretation of this analysis were made difficult by the small sample size and the few numbers of cases.

Likewise, associations with the AC and AA genotypes were at the limits of significance when patients with PsA were compared with healthy individuals.

A multivariate logistic regression analysis model (that included the dietary covariates having a relationship that was significant or at the limits of significance at univariate analysis, i.e., ICS and regular cows’ milk consumption) revealed that only ICS was an independent predictor of adequate iodine status with an odds ratio (OR) of 3.4 (95% CI: 1.0–10.9) ( p = 0.04).

In general, our data show weak correlations with all the environmental parameters considered, except for chlorophyll a in which the correlation is medium and significant; with respect to temperature, the correlation is at the limits of significance (for O. davisae ) and there is a positive correlation signal which supports the seasonal characteristics of the species.

In COH-based connectivity increased density ( p -value 0.028) and global efficiency ( p -value 0.015) in controls were found in β band, while the assortativity coefficient resulted higher in controls than in patients with p -value at the limits of significance ( p -value 0.064).

Moreover, our results, although statistically significant, show confidence intervals at the limits of significance.
