Of the 16 included health variables extracted from these three studies, only one was significant, with a second variable with borderline significance and likely underpowered by a small sample size ( n = 36 participants; p = 0.06).
For the BMI groups, we found a borderline significance difference in TTR -positive status (chi-squared: 7.4783, df = 3, p -value = 0.06 for BMI categories), with an over-representation of hATTR in the overweight group, although this was not statistically significant in the post hoc analysis.
The univariate association of vigorous activity time with 2-h glucose concentration was attenuated to borderline significance ( P = 0.06) in the multivariate model.

Primary endpoint The meta-analysis of pooled hazard ratios in all trials, including a total of 1789 patients, showed that all-cause mortality in the ICD group decreased with borderline significance (167 of 886 patients, i.e. 19%) in comparison to optimal pharmacological treatment (195 of 895 patients, i.e. 22%), with a HR of 0.48 (95% CI 0.67–0.10); p = 0.06; heterogeneity p = 0.78; I 2 = 0% ( Fig. 2 ).
SPECT/CT was significantly more accurate for experienced than for inexperienced readers (p < 0.001), while there was borderline significance concerning MRI (p = 0.06).
Advanced age was associated with higher education with borderline significance ( P = 0.06).
Consistently, the tumor-bearing mice living in the EE conditions showed decreased trend of anxiety-like behaviors with borderline significance (time in open arm: SE = 50.1 ± 10.8 s, EE = 79.2 ± 10.3 s, P = 0.06; percentage of distance travelled in open arm: SE = 7.9 ± 1.3%, EE = 12.1 ± 1.7%, P = 0.07) ( Figure 1D ).

Between-group comparisons showed greater numerical changes in the adjuvant group for feeding ( P = .036), bathing ( P = .024), dressing ( P = .020), grooming ( P = .032), toilet use ( P = .016), mobility ( P = .010), transfers ( P = .012), stair climbing ( P = .008), and borderline significance in continence items ( P ≈ 0.06).
