Although trails A was selected for investigation a priori on the basis of its correlation with MRI volumes, it should be noted that the effect on trails A was modest and would only reach marginal significance ( p =0.065) if strict Bonferroni correction were applied against all five domain scores in our neurocognitive battery.

After adjustment for clinical covariates, the only bacterial factor associated with increased incidence of treatment failure was the hVISA phenotype (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 2.420, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.946–6.191) though with marginal significance ( P = 0.0652).

There was only marginal significance with regard to the burning sensation ( p = 0.0653) ( Table 2 ).

Care score was significantly higher among non-smokers in the total sample ( p < 0.001) and among females ( p < 0.001), while among males this association showed only marginal significance ( p = 0.066).

At 6 months postoperatively, the PD group exhibited higher WBC ( p = 0.001), ANC ( p < 0.001), NLR ( p = 0.011), and PLT ( p = 0.031) than those in the non-PD group; a higher PLR, with marginal significance ( p = 0.066), was also observed in the PD group.

Critically, when both components were entered simultaneously in the full sample, the unique prospective effect of psychological investment on body dissatisfaction reached marginal significance from T2 to T3 ( β = 0.08, p = 0.066), whereas behavioral engagement showed no significant unique effect at either interval (T1 → T2: β = −0.05, p = 0.30; T2 → T3: β = −0.06, p = 0.15).

However, the Two-Way interaction (Age × Vision) showed marginal significance [ F (5, 320) = 2.18; p = 0.066; η 2 P = 0.03].

However, the interaction yielded only marginal significance (Probability*DRD4: F 1,18 = 3.82, p = 0.066, partial η 2 = 0.18; Figure 1 ).

Disease-specific survival in pCR group was shown to be superior to that of non-pCR group with marginal significance (mean, 56.3 months vs. 41.9 months, P = 0.066), Figure 2 B.

The 110 male OLP patients also had higher mean serum homocysteine level than 478 female OLP patients (marginal significance, P = 0.066).

The association, while shrinking to a marginal significance of p = 0.066 in the final model, retained its direction in the adjusted analysis.

Associations with anxiety for their part tended to be weaker than associations with other mental disorders, reaching statistical significance for cross-sectional studies in t -test comparisons with personality disorder ( t = 2.61, df = 33, two-sided p = 0.014) and marginal significance ( t = 1.86, df = 97, two-sided p = 0.066) with depression.

Controlling for potential confounding variables (age, BMI, and MAP) slightly reduced the significance level of this interaction effect to marginal significance ( P = .066).
