Conclusion: The ADC values of the perienhancing area were lower in glioblastoma with a near-significant p-value.

Furthermore, there was a tendency (P = 0.068, Fig 3C ) for an interaction between light exposure and period of the day, with PS treatment showing a near-significant increase in corticosterone levels at night compared to the day.

Here one should draw a profound distinction between the illegitimate procedure of uncorrected p-hacking on a completed dataset and the valid procedure of post hoc sample incrementing to bolster near-significant results.

Additional regression beta analysis for these two parameters found a statistically significant relationship between GLP-1 and triglycerides (regression coefficient: 0.35 (95% confidence interval: 0.18-0.52)) and a near-significant relationship between GLP1 and eGFR (regression coefficient: -0.38 (95% confidence interval: -0.77-0.01)).

Relationship length was unrelated to MHC-odour preference, but among women in relationships, we found a near-significant association between MHC-odour desirability scores (but not pleasantness or intensity) and the frequency with which women reported fantasizing about sexual relationships with other men ( F 2,45 =2.68, p =0.080), such that women who did so more frequently gave higher desirability scores to MHC-dissimilar odours ( figure 3 b ).

These variables were significant or near-significant risk factors in the univariate analysis.

In the SDD–DDD comparison, SDD status continued to show significantly lower adjusted odds of reoperation and superficial SSI, and a near-significant reduction in readmission risk, reinforcing the clinical distinction between true same-day discharge pathways and hospital-defined outpatient care ( Table 6 ).

Interestingly, Central Region (AOR = 0.64, 95% CI: 0.40–1.01, p = 0.054) exhibited a near-significant reduction in HIV testing odds.

Also, patterns have been observed in studies across West Africa, where prior surgery or hospitalization remains a near-significant factor, highlighting the ongoing challenge of infection control in resource-limited clinical settings [ 53 , 63 ].
