The near-significant trend in PedsQL Psychosocial domain scores among naïve patients may be indicative of a patient-perceived benefit that warrants testing in larger, longer studies with 12-month QoL endpoints.

Discussion Our behavioral analysis confirmed that masked presentation of primes significantly facilitated RTs for lexical decision on their targets, in the identity, regular, and irregular conditions, with near-significant facilitation for pseudo-irregulars.

Specifically, identifying the movement domain as a near-significant predictor highlights the clinical importance of vestibular-proprioceptive processing, which is less frequently highlighted in prior research on self-care.

The incidence showed a downward near-significant trend for the younger age group (<18 years) (AAPC: −3.1% (95%CI −6.4 to +0.2), whereas estimation of a reliable AAPC was not possible for the young adults due to the low incidence in this group ( Figure 2 C).

While such results are explicitly labeled as “exploratory trends” and interpreted cautiously, we acknowledge that relying on near-significant findings increases the risk of Type I errors.
