Additional or supplementary data With high-throughput data analysis, many publications come with additional data, either as additional information to support the findings, or as supplementary data to show near-significant results.

However, it is noteworthy that a near-significant relationship was observed between body saturation and the resting activity of the masseter muscles (MM), with a p -value of 0.0536 ( Table 5 , Figure 2 ).

Bonferroni correction of statistical testing gives us conservative estimates which are hypothesis-generating, though near-significant results do confirm clinical observations in practice.

There are several potential reasons that significant differences and near-significant trends only emerged for those three measures but not for others.
