Even if not significant ( p = 0.65), an increasing trend of CR and a diminishing trend of SD were observed according to hormonal therapy ( Table 2 ).

Subsequent cfDNA samples were all positive with an increasing trend, and the patient progressed with bone metastasis nine months after surgery.

Furthermore, there is a clear trend that the distortions get worse with radial distance from isocenter [ 47 ] with minor distortions below about 100 mm [ 51 , 53 ].

Except for a trend towards significance in the myocardium, we did not observe any relevant associations between PET-based tumor burden and normal organs.

We treated OKF6 keratinocytes with salicylic acid ( Figure 3 d), NS-398 ( Figure 3 d) and the COX-2 selective inhibitor celecoxib ( Figure 3 e) and showed that all treatments reduced both PGE1 and PGE2 to baseline levels and these results were highly significant.

A Dutch study on clinical auditing of CRC patients from 2009 to 2016 revealed a good quality of rectal surgery at the hospital level with an increasing trend of conducting low anterior resections and improved outcomes [ 24 ].

Analysis of MFS showed a trend in survival difference among six subtypes ( Figure 5 A), although it did not reach significance (log-rank test: p = 0.2).

Gender ( p = 0.061) and presence of brain metastases ( p = 0.067) was of borderline significance in our analysis.

Although no significant difference was observed, an increasing trend of cervical cancer during pregnancy was confirmed, and we speculate that low cervical cancer vaccination and cervical cancer screening uptake rates could be the underlying reasons.

The present study findings reveal an increasing trend in the odds of getting screened as the wealth index improves from poorest to richest.

For example, significant racial differences in AL score between African American and White women and a significant trend of decreasing AL score with the increase of family income were observed in both studies.

In addition, marginally significant association was observed for HDL and waist to hip ratio (HDL: HR = 1.33, 95% CI: 0.96, 1.85; CRP: HR = 1.38, 95% CI: 0.95, 1.99).

A detailed analysis of the duration of the operation showed a trend of decreasing operative time with the number of performed procedures ( Figure 1 ).

For GTR versus biopsy (HR 0.59, 95% CI 0.34–1.01, p = 0.053) and STR versus biopsy (HR 0.77, 95% CI 0.56–1.06, p = 0.114), there was a nonsignificant trend toward better survival.
