Generally, there was a clear trend of a decreasing HACA peak area over time.

Finally, an inverse association between baseline glutamate (quartiles) and PAD risk ( p -Value for Linear trend = 0.029) was observed, but when tested as a continuous variable (per each SD increase), the association of glutamate was only marginally significant (OR for 1 SD increase = 0.79 (0.60–1.03)).
