Indeed, the presence of coronary artery disease (CAD) has been identified as having a highly significant and independent predictive role in the achievement of the recommended LDL-C goals [ 33 , 34 ], which may suggest more stringent monitoring and management of LLT to achieve the recommended therapeutic goals in patients with an established CVD.
Excerpts
a marginal trendgold
Anti-ApoA-1 IgG positive subjects showed significantly lower median levels of LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, and miR-33a, with a marginal trend for apoB particles when compared to anti-ApoA1 IgG negative subjects ( Table 2 ).
However, when utilizing a network-based approach, there may be significant associations between sub-regions within specific networks that are important for DT (e.g., right-lateralized sub-regions of the ECN and SN; [ 23 ]), which may not be detected using this network-based method.
On the one hand, only a few patients are affected (1–4% after kidney transplantation) [ 10 ], so the additional costs are hardly significant due to the small number of patients.
a negative trendgold
There was no correlation between %EBMIL and either positive answers ( r = 0.08) or negative answers ( r = −0.14), but there was a positive and a negative trend, respectively.
Also, male IBD patients showed a trend toward lower BMD [ 12 ].
Recently, a study from Israel revealed the use of steroids and low BMI as risk factors for low BMD in IBD patients, whereas smoking and male sex reached only borderline significance [ 12 ].
Furthermore, the observed trend in prevalence of measured osteoporosis in this study also corresponded to the study by Looker et al., which reported that the prevalence of osteoporosis had an increasing trend in older (50 years and above) US adults between 2005–2006 and 2013–2014 [ 4 ].
Our results indicate that sepsis is common in young adults and associated with high in-hospital mortality, though it shows a decreasing trend.
To understand whether this event occurred in a brain-region-specific manner, we monitored the levels of MYBBP1A and AIMP2 protein in the CTX of PD patients, revealing there was an increasing trend of MYBBP1A in the CTX of PD patients ( Figure 4 B).
a positive trendgold
Furthermore, the minimum SpO 2 (%) at diagnosis was significantly correlated with the PSQ scores (%), social and school results (with a positive trend), and ADHD index (with a positive trend) at follow-up but was negatively correlated with physical abilities.
Fourth, there are likely to be significant interactions between the behavioural strategies.
Patients #1, #17, and #19 had an initial serum AFP >100 ng/mL and a decreasing trend in the serum AFP levels during the course of the study.
Ultra-High-Performance LC-QTOF-MS/MS Method Sample Analysis The LC-QTOF-MS/MS experiments were performed only for nominally significant compounds (T7 vs.
a clear trendgold
However, there is a clear trend that previous systemic therapy is associated with decreased survival (7.3 vs. 13.1 months in our study), which has been confirmed by other studies [ 22 ].
After BS, the levels of most of the mentioned AAs showed a trend of returning to the correct concentrations similar to that observed in the LC group ( Table 2 ).
FeNO was measured in 67.8% of children at 6 months of follow-up (median: 4, CI: 0.0–8.6 ppb), 74.4% at 12 months (median: 6.0, CI: 2.8–12.0 ppb), 83.5% at month 18 (median: 8.0, CI: 4.0–14.0 ppb) and 72.1% at the final visit (median: 8.5, CI: 4.4–14.5 ppb), suggesting an increasing trend with time/age in asthmatics.
A post-hoc subgroup analysis showed a trend of a reducing ALSFRS-R slope decline in patients with moderately severe disease progression [ 276 ].
Additionally, BNST volumes were also found to be related to clinical and third-wave cognitive measures which are known to be relevant in chronic pain and FM; more precisely (after applying multiple comparisons correction), highly significant associations between BNST volumes with functional impairment, depressive symptomatology, perceived stress, and the nonjudging mindfulness facet were observed.
We have seen a decreasing trend in both wound ooze and ‘Cerament burns’ (skin erythema from leakage of Cerament) amongst our patients, which we attribute to the learning curve associated with its use.
However, an important trend was found towards the increase of the perfusion after the end of the artery clamping. 3.3.
a possible trendgold
Two recent studies using Cerament in DFO have reported using systemic antibiotics between 4 and 6 weeks, indicating a possible trend that clinicians are now becoming more confident limiting systemic antibiotic duration with antibiotic impregnated Cerament instillation.
Nevertheless, due to the highly significant associations observed between CVD and OD as well as between pulmonary diseases and OD, it is reasonable to assume that there are specific pathophysiological processes connecting CVD, pulmonary diseases and OD.
During a median follow-up of 16 months, this subgroup of patients showed a trend towards lower rates of death or dependency (12.7% vs. 18.3%, hazard ratio (HR) 0.73, 95% CI 0.44–1.21) [ 2 ].
a clear trendgold
First, despite higher serological CMV risk, we noticed a clear trend of lower CMV incidence in the CMVIg subset (4% vs. 22.2%), which in view of well-known direct and indirect CMV-related harms could have been involved in superior outcome.
