At baseline, the FAZ area and macular VD in the DCP were significantly associated with BCVA while a trend toward significance was noted with the VD in the SCP.

Interestingly, the SO group at discharge showed unchanged PhA values, whereas the No SO group at discharge exhibited a positive trend.

Nutritional Status Our study demonstrated that nutrition counseling significantly reduced the mean percentage of weight loss at the 3–4-week mark and showed a trend towards reduction at the 12-week mark.

On the other hand, the WHO-5 follows a positive trend, with higher scores representing better QoL.
