In addition, the authors found a highly significant and clinically relevant decline in FC during therapy with ETI, but there was no association between FC changes and changes in the therein-assessed GI symptoms [ 63 ].

However, more recent studies showed a trend in more globe salvage rates in high-income countries [ 30 , 31 ].

A significant reno-protective effect of trimetazidine was seen in all these trials except Mirhosseni et al., 2019 (N = 100) and Ye et al., (N = 106) [ 12 , 15 ], which showed a trend towards protective OR, though non-significant.

The recurrence rate of BPPV was observed to be 2 cases (6.67%) in pediatric patients, 4 cases (17.39%) in the 20–40 age group, 17 cases (19.10%) in the 41–60 age group, and 37 cases (24.34%) in ≥61 age group, showing an increasing trend with age although it was not statistically significantly ( p = 0.162); however, recurrence was significantly higher in the ≥61 age group than in pediatric patients ( p = 0.030).

Patients who underwent other glaucoma surgery prior to PMS implantation tended to have an increased risk of failure, although this result was only significant for the FS18 criterion and borderline significant for the QS21 criterion.

We observed a shift in the characteristics of the admitted population over time, noting a significant trend in age, glomerular filtration rate, and CardShock mean score.

Triglyceride Levels Overall, in the primary analyses, a strong trend towards the affected twins having statistically significantly higher triglycerides than the low-risk twins (1.1 mmol/L, 95% CI:1.0–1.2 vs. 0.8 mmol/L, 95% CI:0.5–1.0, p = 0.052) was seen.

Additionally, many of the data trend toward significance, suggesting that these trends might potentially reach statistical significance in a larger population.

Additionally, there is a trend towards significance for foot fractures ( p -value: 0.052) ( Table 3 ).

Multivariable analysis indicated that the original HFTPs of 2 and 3 and the revised HFTPs of ≥2 were independently associated with the occurrence of primary outcome events after discharge, in addition to anemia and impaired renal function, while one point was related with marginal significance in the multivariable models in both scores ( Table 2 ). 4.

It should be noted that, for the power analysis, the Spearman rank order correlations results using Cramer’s V effect size of independence, in the cases with a moderately significant correlation ( p = >0.01 <0.05), it makes sense to increase sample sizes with a 60% chance of obtaining convincing p -values ( Table 6 ).

For both post-distalization and post-treatment records, the included studies demonstrate an overall trend of an increase in the mandibular plane angle.

While a definite trend cannot be determined from the range of reported changes ( Table 5 ), a meta-analysis using a random-effects model overall revealed no vertical position change of the maxillary first ( Figure 3 ) and second molars ( Figure 4 ).

Note that there may be significant exceptions to these general guidelines: C4 to C7 tetraplegia can be associated with platypnea and orthodeoxia with an increase in supine vital capacity [ 78 ].
