Having three or more metastatic sites showed a trend toward worse OS (HR 2.07, 95% CI 0.99–4.35; p = 0.053), but no covariate reached p < 0.05 in the multivariate model, likely reflecting limited statistical power with 45 patients and 40 events.
Within-group longitudinal analyses across 2 time points (by the Wilcoxon signed-rank test) confirmed stable over time TNF-α levels in the evolocumab group (all p > 0.1), whereas in the control group a borderline significant increase was observed at 72 h vs. baseline ( p = 0.053) ( Supplementary Table S2 ).
Interestingly, univariate analysis disclosed preoperative RDW as strictly related to disease-free survival ( p = 0.04), but it was not confirmed in the exploratory multivariable analysis where it was however associated to p close to significance ( p = 0.053).
Interestingly, the severity of IBD at the time of the second diagnosis almost reached statistical significance ( p = 0.053) in relation to improvement, which might suggest that the timing of the therapy modification in relation to disease severity is crucial.
Night-time declamping was associated with worse 1-year post-transplant patient and graft survival before (HR = 1.44(0.99–2.1); p = 0.058) and borderline significant after adjustment for other predictors (HR= 1.49 (0.99–2.22); p = 0.053), findings which were consistent with the analysis of the entire cohort. 4.
In multivariable analysis, advanced age and prior myocardial infarction independently predicted mortality while treatment with MIDCAB showed a trend toward improved survival ( p = 0.053).
When corrected for LA dilatation ( Supplementary Materials Table S1 ), BMI was a borderline significant predictor of AF inducibility (OR 1.14, p = 0.053).
Regarding the aetiology of HF ( Table 2 ), hypertension was the most frequent cause of HF in both groups, although it predominated, almost significantly, in patients without statins (51.5% vs. 47.7%; p = 0.053).
A nonsignificant trend toward an increased short-term (2.0% vs. 1.2%, RR: 1.66, 95% CI: 0.99–2.78, p = 0.053) and long-term (4.7% vs. 3.5%, incident rate ratio: 1.40, 95% CI: 0.97–2.03, p = 0.07) all-cause mortality was also found, while no differences were found in long-term (1-year) mortality neither in short- or long-term follow-up for MI, repeat revascularization, stent thrombosis, stroke, major bleeding and the composite of MACEs [ 59 ].
Comparison of the Arg-Dimethylation Indices between Boys and Men ( Table 3 ) Urinary creatinine concentrations of the white boys were higher (by 13.2%) than of the white men, with borderline significance ( p = 0.053), while the difference between black boys and men was not significant ( p = 0.122).
The prevalence of simple MND (81.3%) was significantly higher in the ASD group than in the control group ( p < 0.0001); interestingly, in children with ASD, complex MND (15.6%) occurred more frequently than in non ASD children (0%), with a difference that approached significance ( p = 0.053) ( Table 1 ).
In contrast, in the usual care group, the E/e′ ratio increment during exercise increased slightly from 2.9 to 3.0 ( p = 0.78), resulting in nearly significant between-group differences ( p = 0.053, Table 3 , Figure 4 a).
While the 2279 nm peak showed a nearly significant correlation with proteinuria (ρ = −0.36, p = 0.053), no significant correlations were observed for the other peaks of interest.
Factors Affecting the Risk of Malnutrition According to SGA Scale In the group diagnosed with non-squamous cell carcinoma, there was a 6.67-fold lower risk of moderate and severe malnutrition (SGA) approaching significance (OR = 0.15; p = 0.0530).
Hence, a trend to a protective effect in human patients was observed for both compounds, although the decreased risk observed was marginally significant only for VPA ( p = 0.053).
For ‘target absent’ displays, a marginally significant interaction between set size and group was found ( F (4.67,179.68) = 2.82, p = 0.053, η p 2 = 0.056).
TAPSE/PASP remained significantly associated with a high risk of events using Cox univariate analysis (HR: 0.046; 95% CI [0.004–0.45], p = 0.009) but at the limit of significance in the clinical multivariate model (HR: 0.045; 95% CI [0.001–1.02], p = 0.053).
No significant differences in the firing rate between groups after FDR correction for multiple comparisons were found, although DEX and REMI, and REMI in combination with CLONI showed a trend towards significance ( t (209) = 2.64, p = 0.0531; t (269) = 2.28, p = 0.0695).
