Whereas conventional hydrogen bonds are mainly dominated by electrostatic forces, “typical” CH-π interactions are thought to have a major contribution from dispersion forces being their electrostatic component almost insignificant [ 2 ].
Excerpts
It was considered that no obvious effect on most biochemical indexes was observable, but the triglyceride (TG) content showed a decreasing trend compared to blank control, which was due to the different content of polyprenols and drug administration time.
On the whole, the total content of triterpenic acids showed an increasing trend during the first 24 h of the drying process, and then the content change was not significant.
Sucrose exhibited a decreasing trend and its content was reduced from 7.92 μg/g in the fresh sample (S1) to being not detectable in the samples after drying for 96 h (S5–S7).
The value of the adjusted determination coefficient (Adjusted R 2 = 0.9689) also confirmed that the model was highly significant.
In addition an unexpectedly, marginally significant increase of cells in S phase was observed.
In contrast, cisplatin produced a highly significant increment of cells in sub G1, along with the reduction of cells in G0/G1, S, and G2/M phases ( Figure 2 B).
The results indicated that all the quadratic terms and liner terms as the ratio of liquid and solid (X 1 ) and ethanol concentration (X 4 ) and the interaction between X 1 X 3 , X 2 X 3 , were highly significant ( p ˂ 0.01) on the total flavonoids yield (Y 1 ), whereas the linear and quadratic effects of all independent variables were found to be significant ( p ˂ 0.05) on ABTS (Y 2 ) and DPPH (Y 3 ) radical-scavenging capacity of extracts from alfalfa ( Table 3 ).
extremely significantqualified
The second-order model developed for the yield of flavonoids from alfalfa was extremely significant.
However, with the further increase of d -limonene, the antibacterial result of PVA/ d -limonene fibers showed a decreasing trend.
Proteins with highly significant differences (i.e., |DAVE| > 0.2 and |DCI| > 10) are reported in Figure 3 and in Table S2 , together with fold changes and G test values.
These results are quite significant, since no cytotoxic effects were observed at working concentration. 2.3.4.
When these metabolites were tested by buffelgrass leaf puncture assay at 2.5 × 10 −3 M, there were highly significant differences among compounds in the necrotic lesion area (d.f.
There are two differences between the enzymes which may be significant for the inhibitor binding MβLs: (1) The distance between Zn(II) ion and Asp124 which interacts with the hydroxyl group and the triazole ring of 2 in NDM-1, is bigger in VIM-2 (16.12 Å, PDB code 4NQ2) than in NDM-1 (2.12 Å, PDB code 4EYL).
The body weight of the six groups showed an increasing trend with the prolonged feeding time, whereas mice in the CRS group had the slowest weight gain.
Differences with p -value < 0.05 were considered statistically significant and p < 0.01 was considered highly significant. 5.
So, the methoxyl group at 4′ and 4′′′ in the B rings of amentoflavone-type biflavonoids may be significant for their anti-proliferative activities, which are consistent with their better anti-inflammatory activities [ 20 ].
These results indicate that pheo-a has a less cytotoxic effect with moderately significant antioxidant activity, suggesting that the pheo-a can be used as an antioxidant agent with a broad dose, without having a harmful effect on viable cells. 3.
In both buffaloes and cows, mycorrhizal milk samples showed a trend of a higher n ω-6/ω-3 ratio than nonmycorrhizal.
The elution efficiency of aluminum ions in the first eight cycles was high and exceeded 90%, but a decreasing trend should be mentioned.
a positive trendgold
For leaves extracts, the same negative effect is visible for caffeic acid (though not significant), while a positive trend can be noted for waste extracts.
a clear trendgold
We observed a clear trend between the electronic properties of the substrate and the E : Z selectivity; substrates featuring more electron-rich aromatic rings favored the formation of the desired E isomers, whereas the opposite was true for substrates featuring more electron-poor aromatic rings ( Figure 1 ).
a clear trendgold
However, the tear strength does not show a clear trend due to the dependence of several factors.
As shown in Figure 3 A, the apparent viscosity of the emulsion showed a decreasing trend with the increase of the shear rate.
Interestingly, treatment did not produce any variation in plasma CoQ 10 content in the diabetic monkeys, while non-diabetic monkeys showed a trend towards a decline in plasma CoQ 10 , which was restored after the wash-out period ( Figure 3 A).
