A large meta-analysis showed a positive trend in survival associated with ARBs and ACEIs in CRC patients, with up to a 20% increase in disease-free survival, progression-free survival and overall survival [ 20 ]. β-blockers are antagonists of adrenergic receptors, which bind epinephrine and norepinephrine as part of the sympathetic nervous system [ 21 ]. β-blockers restrict prolonged adrenergic stimulation and subsequent renin production [ 11 ].
With the time extension of NaCl stress, I 1 and I 2 in the DF curve showed a decreasing trend, the lowest values of MR/MR O curve increased, and the highest points of the MR/MR O curve decreased.

Table 3 presents the ANOVA results for the response surface quadratic model describing the degree of hydrolysis and the ACE-inhibitory activity which revealed F-values of 55.87 and 330.92, while the p-value (p < 0.0001) was very low, from which it can be inferred that the terms in the model were highly significant.
In contrast, the chains showed a trend towards reversing the downregulation of MMP-3 and MMP-13 expression although this was not statistically significant ( Fig 4B ).

Subgroup analysis of the laboratory testing As shown in S2 Fig , a significant trend towards higher D-dimer (MD = 1.51, 95% CI: 0.80–2.23) and WBC counts (MD = 1.42, 95% CI: 0.14–2.70) in the AE-COPD with PE group.
