The graph shows a clear trend whereby the TTA-TTA group has an increased frequency of moderate and severe patients and reduced frequency of mild patients, while patients with CCG-other and CCG-CCG has a reduced frequency of severe patients and increased frequency of mild patients.
GI3 targets a widely-dispersed genomic hotspot consisting of a target 23 bp sequence and consequently it may be significant in the emergence of future MDR pathogens in the Enterobacteriaceae .
Drug-induced activation of these systems results in strong associations between drug cues and drug reward, rendering drug-related stimuli highly significant and salient for the user.
Therefore it was surprising that we only detected a significant difference in BLI after two weeks of treatment while there after one week of treatment only was a trend towards significance.
When analysing MVD of the xenograft tumours, we found a highly significant reduction in MVD in the B20 and B20+TB403 groups as compared to the control group.
Their response latencies for images of men versus neutral images were not significantly different given our adjusted alpha levels, although there was a clear trend towards significance.
In adjusted analysis, HBsAg+ (aOR: 2.09, 1.01-4.34) and HCV Ag/Ab+ (aOR: 19.58, 13.07-29.33) status were significantly associated with HIV infection; the association with total anti-HBc+ approached significance (aOR: 1.29, 0.99-1.68).
All statistical analyses were performed using statistical software R [ 54 ] and significance was considered when P < 0.05, whereas marginal significance was considered when P ranged from 0.05 to 0.10.
Moreover, in this period the probability of having a cheetah kill site decreased as the distance to water increased within grassland, open mixed bushveld and palmveld habitats, with the first two being the most highly significant ( S4 Fig .).
Our linear models revealed strong and highly significant correlations between the functioning and the diversity of pond zooplankton communities, and our structural equation models demonstrated that these relationships were not simply driven by variation in environmental conditions.
At this stage, correlations between modules were all highly significant, and the percentage of covariation explained increased drastically for the basicranium-calvarium relationship ( Table 5 ).
Data are shown only for the four CVD risk factors for which there was a significant trend in prevalence according to the acculturation variables; data for the other variables are presented in S1 Table .
This indicates that even if a university student should meet PA recommendations exclusively by engaging in vigorous-intensity PA, it would not necessarily be associated with practically significant changes in his/her life satisfaction.
Data retrieved from systematic literature review did not identify threshold CSF Aβ 1–42 levels that can distinguish between healthy controls and subjects with AD because there was highly significant heterogeneity and the ranges frequently overlapped.
Other genes that exhibited a significant interaction did not reach high significance in particular contrasts; however, the integration of consistent borderline significant contrasts resulted in a significant overall interaction effect ( Table 1 and Table A in S1 File ).
Classification of the least-dependent kinematic patterns and implications for flight control In most of the flight segments analyzed, LCA decomposed the wing motion into a set of linear components with insignificant or only marginally significant mutual dependence.
Reduced Fe plaque was observed after applying GA 3 to the groups containing added Fe 2+ (17 and 42 mg•L -1 ) and an increasing trend was detected in Mn plaques of the Mn 2+ (34 and 84 mg•L -1 ) added treatments.
Moreover, there was a highly significant correlation between all HI, MN and NAi antibody responses, and between antibody responses and protection against lethal challenge.
Despite the small sample size, many of the intervention effects in the proteomics pathway analyses and for individual proteins were highly significant, exceeding by orders of magnitude, the Bonferroni corrections and the effects observed in multiple previous analyses we have performed in which we compared plasma samples in cancer cases and controls [ 23 , 26 , 27 ].
The effect of HT stress was highly significant for all physiological and yield traits except grain number per spike, and we demonstrated genotypic variability in chromosome translocation lines for physiological traits, yield components, and grain yield.
We chose to add biomarkers to the base model that were independently associated (or showed a trend toward association) with incident TB in univariate +/- multivariable models.
We based this criterion on the highly significant ( α < 0.001) water level autocorrelations found in all series as determined by the Durbin-Watson test [ 31 ] under the null hypothesis of no temporal autocorrelation in the series at a 30-day lag.
