In the lakes with a positive trend between dispersal rate and productivity (Lake 1 and Lake 5) the increase in productivity coincided with a change in community composition greatly due to an increase in abundance of two betaproteobacteria, one of them performing well on p-coumaric acid.
Furthermore, there was a highly significant correlation between mean intra-subject stiffness and the slope of the stiffness/force curve for the WT ( ) and FT ( ).
Genes upregulated in abdominal tissue samples generally showed reduced methylation levels in regions close to the transcription start site (TSS200, 5 ́-UTR) and the first exon of genes ( Figure 2D ) whereas genes downregulated in abdominal cells showed a clear trend towards hypermethylation in these regions.
The δ 15 N values of vestimentiferans remained relatively constant with depth, while the shrimp, albeit variable, showed a trend of decreasing δ 15 N values with depth ( Figure 3D ).
The effects of water addition and N addition on soil nematode communities In our study, N addition decreased the soil nematode communities in the O horizon, which showed a decreasing trend in total nematode abundance and trophic diversity.
Why that trend was observed in most males from Denmark but the two males from NW Spain showed either no trend or a decreasing trend is unclear but again the difference is suggestive of dissimilarities between individuals from the two regions, either on their foraging behaviour or in their patterns of movements and, consequently, on the δ 15 N baselines of the waters they inhabit.
For the expression of the interexon 2-3 ( Figure 1A ), there are highly significant differences between the CML compared to the other groups, like MM and CLL.
Moreover, we found a significant correlation between the two connectivity attributes in the dMPFC, and an obvious trend in the rLTC in aMCI ( Figure 6 ).
A highly significant negative correlation was observed between starting weight percentage and chemokines, such as MIP-1α, CXCL9, CXCL10, MCP-1, and KC (data not shown).
However influenza outbreaks are reported in dementia care units [45] and looking at the time series there is a clear seasonality, with peaks in winter months and an increasing trend in recent seasons.
In sharp contrast ( Figure 3A ), no significant difference was apparent in clotting times of plasma samples not containing homogeneized thrombi and incubated with either 5G9 (median 116.3 seconds, IQ range 108.6–150.6 seconds), TBS (median 116.3 seconds, IQ range 109.5–150.2 seconds), 10H10 (median 114.2 seconds, IQ range 107.8–150.2 seconds), or an isotype-matched IgG (median 116.7 seconds, IQ range 108.2–151.1 seconds).
Diabetes, estimated GFR and proteinuria showed borderline significance as predictors of progression, and serum albumin was not independently associated with CKD progression.
Both MDRD and CKD-EPI eGFR were significantly higher in improvers than nonimprovers, but the difference in median mGFR value was on the borderline of significance ( Table 2 ).
Although the clinicopathologic characteristics of each group were not statistically different, the pCR group showed a trend toward smaller size compared to the non-pCR (PR and SD) group.
