The p -value of genotype for rs4135385 was at borderline significant level (0.048), and a larger study will give better indications to the role of this SNP in susceptibility to TB.
Excerpts
This changed to an increasing trend in LARC prescribing of 4% annually (adjusted rate ratio = 1.04, 95% CI = 1.03, 1.06) after the introduction of QOF contraception incentives.
A P value <0.05 was considered significant and <0.001 was considered highly significant.
Observed (unweighted) CD4+ cell counts display an increasing trend throughout the ten years of follow-up with values for the median and IQR reaching 307 (180–448), 472 (316–654), 511 (313–677), and 597 (375–797) cells/μL in years 1, 4, 7, and 10, respectively ( Table 3 and Figure 1 ).
Albeit only nominally significant ( Figure 2 ) for the single pathway member, multiple intermediates of the AA metabolism were elevated ( Figure 3A , orange pathway): first, DHA, an ω-3 fatty acid, also called cervonic acid; as DHA is an inhibitor of prostaglandin synthase [29] , this probably displays a counter-regulatory - albeit insufficient - mechanism of MUHO's adipocytes.
a slight trendgold
However, in the paired sub-group, it was possible to detect a slight trend toward a more intense response to DBPII among DARC positives carrying a single positive allele (high responder, RI>4.0) ( Figure 2B ).
a weak trendgold
We observed a weak trend toward increased DBPII IgG antibodies among single positive allele carriers, although this association was not significant in two of the three cross-sectional surveys.
The region of origin significantly affected mycorrhizal colonisation and the aboveground biomass, and it also affected the number of leaves with marginal significance ( Table 3 ).
There was a marginally significant difference in mycorrhizal colonisation between the sites of origin within target sites (St × So interaction; Table 3 ).
Results Clonality-climate relationship Logistic regressions exhibited an increasing trend of the proportion of clonality in plant communities with temperature seasonality (TS) and precipitation seasonality (PS) while it decreased with MAT and MAP ( Figure 2a, b, c, d ), in which MAT explained 13% of the total variation of clonality.
Protein annotations and the probable significance of the identifications were carried out using Scaffold (version 3.6.1, Proteome Software Inc., OR).
Similar analysis showed a trend positive relationship between changes in GNAS and changes in BMI.
a clear trendgold
There is a clear trend of rapidly increasing PC incidence in Asian countries, including South Korea [2] , [3] .
There is one marginally significant interaction term in columns (1) and (2) and it refers to the interaction between period and total time spent on the computer.
We show that some short isoforms are expressed at very low, or barely-detectable, levels in most tissues, though, in some cases, they may be significant in certain specific cells or tissues.
After excluding Acromyrmex volcanus where sample size was very small and two forage categories completely missing, the evenness trends in Figure 1B corresponded fairly well with the relative proportional forage acquisition data in Figure 1A with, from left to right, a clearly increasing trend in tree-leaf use, a decreasing trend in the use of flowers, and hump-shaped trends in the use of herbaceous leaves and fruit.
Quantifying the apoptotic cells showed a trend towards a difference between these mutants ( Fig. 8F, G ; 9A).
Differences remained highly significant when only skulls from adult animals were compared (data not shown).
However, older adults consistently rated the scenarios higher in novelty than did young adults in all three sets of analyses ( p s < .03), qualified by a significant or marginally significant age by scenario interaction in the first two sets of analyses ( p s < .03).
The mapping revealed a decreasing trend of SOC concentrations from south to north across this region of the Gobi desert, with higher levels close to an oasis and lower levels surrounded by mountains and near the desert.
The sill values, representing total variation, showed an increasing trend from the surface soil layer to the deepest layer, which further validated the results obtained by conventional statistical methods.
In contrast to the lack of an effect on type I IFN responses in the SIV-infected spleens, minocycline treatment showed a trend towards reduced SIV RNA levels in spleen compared to infected, untreated animals, reducing viral loads by approximately 50%.
Despite the remarkably large sample size for each group, the study found an increase in the rate of IgAN among patients with celiac disease compared with reference individuals that was marginally significant, possibly attributable to the inherent bias towards further evaluation and follow-up of individuals already diagnosed with a chronic disease.
Shorter and sinuous trajectories also resulted in lower net distances at the lowest space availability (defined as the straight distance from the departing to the final location), effect that was close to significance.
The importance of the inter-diet and inter-tissue PLFA composition (PC1 score and PC2 score ) was confirmed by the highly significant effect of the factors ‘diet’ and ‘tissue’ (ANOVA; Table 4 ).
