Third, for nearly every species or family that exhibited a significant trend in occurrence that was also categorized as either southern or northern relative to the fixed sampling location, the trend was as expected given warming conditions [ 70 ] and given previous evidence that larvae and adult fish in this region are shifting predominately northward [ 4 , 12 ].

In the NACP cohort the three variants rs937662 , rs1699012 , and rs4746 showed borderline significant results in distinct analysis models that, however, were not confirmed in the extended or replication cohorts.

The percentage of power in the alpha range was close to significance but did not pass the correction for multiple comparisons ( Table 1 ).

When we explore the dynamics of these measures for all patients, we can see a generally decreasing trend across the LOR time window and an increasing trend across the ROR time window ( Fig 11 ).

Although there are no main effects in relation to gender, the interaction between time and gender is significant for GAD-7 and internal anger, and marginally significant for PCL-17.

Using restricted cubic splines, a non-linear dose-response relationship between cumulative FB and probability of death at day 28 was found; where a more positive FB predicted mortality and a negative FB showed a trend towards survival.

We also found a marginally significant positive effect of warming on hemiparasite aboveground biomass ( Table 1 ), with the model including both temperature treatment and growing condition fitting marginally better than the model with only growing condition (LR test: χ 2 1 = 3.73, P < 0.053).

An increasing trend was observed for monthly average of maximum temperature.

Furthermore, a decreasing trend was observed for precipitation during the years.

Simulation of cholera cases indicated that there is a clear trend of increasing cholera cases under the worst scenario (RCP8.5) by the year 2050 and the highest cholera cases observe in warmer months.

However, TUNEL staining showed a trend of increased apoptosis in the indomethacin and vaccine treated groups compared to control.

Gestational diabetes as a strong predictor for poor birth outcomes is not surprising given the rich medical literature on this association; however, finding such a strong trend across two of the three outcomes given that only 1% of our sample screened for gestational diabetes underscores the importance of screening for gestational diabetes during pregnancy, particularly among populations that have increased risk factors, including high levels of overweight and obesity among women.[ 31 ] The low prevalence of these complications may reflect that mothers were young with a median age of around 26 years.
