Nevertheless, many of the differences that showed raw significant values in the VHF diet at least also showed a trend in the same direction, albeit of non-significant p -values, in the HFS.
Excerpts
As was the case for HV, results were attenuated after adjusting covariates, although a non-linear association of clusterin and left-side MTLV remained marginally significant.
The differences were statistically highly significant leading to the conclusion that Tet is required for normal locomotion.
In contrast to the above pest insects, there was a highly significant effect of farming type on the abundances of larval lepidopterans ( Table 1 ), with higher abundances for organic farming ( S1 Appendix ).
Planthoppers showed variable trends, i.e., increasing trends in the early and late seasons, but a decreasing trend in the middle season (early August) ( Fig 1 ).
Stink bugs showed an increasing trend in the early season (late July), but no trends in early and late August, when their abundance became high ( S1 Appendix ).
Interestingly, isolates belonging to ST112 showed a trend towards increased antimicrobial susceptibility.
Results Effects of block, Al, P, and clone on seedling growth parameters The results of variance analysis ( Table 2 ) indicated that individual treatments with Al and P had highly significant effects on the root, stem, and leaf DWs of the two Eucalyptus clones.
Adjusted diabetes ORs were 2.8, 5.3, 6.3 and 12.1 among whites respectively with BMI 25–29, 30–34, 35–39 and ≥40 relative to 20–24 kg/m 2 and 1.6, 2.1, 3.3 and 3.7 among blacks, a highly significant difference (p interaction < .0001).
There were significant or marginally significant interactions between the tenure group and the survey year for difficulty concentrating and excessive fatigue, respectively.
Decidualized primary cultures of HESCs produced nearly double the amount of VEGF mRNA (highly significant) as compared to non-decidualized HESCs ( Fig 4A ).
These were areas in which the improvised conditions showed significantly greater activity than Following (marginally significant for the cerebellum).
Post-mortem examination revealed that even strictly submucosal probe position was often (in six out of seven rats) associated with more or less significant pathology leading to further drop-outs from the study.
However, the relative expression levels of the two genes showed an increasing trend in the 2% DNJ-treated group compared with the control.
Analysis of alpha diversity for GAS with high OTU values compared to other patient groups reveals only a marginally significant difference between any two groups with Phylogenetic Diversity–Whole Tree and no significant difference among the remaining four alpha diversities, no matter whether we choose OTU abundance > 0.05 or >0.1 as the threshold for subgroup "positive_high" ( Table 3 , Table K in S1 File and Table U in S1 File ).
Genetic diversity Measures of expected heterozygosity and allelic richness both showed an increasing trend from pre- to post-supplementation samples ( Fig 3A ).
However, 10 weeks after the dox treatment the VEGF-A mRNA levels showed an increasing trend in all studied tissues (heart, kidney, lungs, spleen, skeletal muscle, liver) in TG mice in comparison to TG mice without the dox treatment (data not shown).

When then integrated over the entire set of observed larvae, it was possible to recover an estimate of the mortality of the larvae by year and spawning component [ 60 ]: clear differences between the components could be seen together with a strong trend in recent years.
In this unselected study population, Kaplan-Meier plots visualize a highly significant discrimination of events within the first years of follow-up defined by invasive or non-invasive as well as serological parameters (Figs 2 to 5 , S1 – S8 Figs).
No effect for time was observed for GH2 variant 2, GH2 variant 3, or GH2 variant 4, however, group differences for GH2 variant 2 (p = 0.059) and variant 3 (p = 0.070) approached significance.
With a p value of p = 0.052, one could argue that there was a trend towards significance.
There was no trend in mean FVC-levels across the categories of CPI, but a significant trend in mean FEV 1 and mean for the ratio of FVC to FEV 1 was observed in both men and women ( Table 1 ).
Three broad types of fish assemblages in the Chagos Archipelago are suggested through a combination of highly significant species within the ordination ( Fig 6 ), significant benthic associations ( Fig 5 ) and clustering of fish species ( Fig 2b ).
A marginal trend also hinted at a positive association between the AMP and the rating scores, but no other correlation approached significance.
Especially the correlation between the rating scores and the EXPRES scores proved to be highly significant.
