When we assessed whether smokers’ lower sensitivity to preference reversals is statistically mediated by the group difference in metacognitive accuracy, the Sobel test showed only a marginally significant result, t = 1.94, p = 0.05.
Excerpts
Duncan post-hoc analyses on visual-spatial working memory revealed that, in the Training-first Group (G1), delta 1 (M = 0.85, sem = 0.26) was significantly larger than delta 2 (M = −0.35, sem = 0.22; P < 0.01), with a very large effect (Cohen’s d = 1.21); in contrast, in the Waiting-first Group (G2), the difference between delta 1 (M = −0.19, sem = 0.30) and delta 2 (M = 0.34, sem = 0.25) was marginally significant (P = 0.05) and in the expected direction of a medium-sized improvement after training (Cohen’s d = 0.53).
In addition, with the increase of Fe-BC application amount, soil organic matter content showed an increasing trend, and there were notable variations between the groups that received different treatments ( P < 0.05).
After conducting linear regression to examine the association of log-transformed AIx with each clinical characteristic, we found that age, sex, AA group, mean arterial pressure, anti-hypertensive medication, and HDL cholesterol had nominally significant associations ( P < 0.05).
Interestingly, within the TB population, a marked trend to display the lowest plasma levels of IFN-γ was observed in AA carriers ( P > 0.05), in clear contrast to HD, where the opposite trend was observed ( Fig. 2b ).
SNPs rs1571942 and rs12219125 in the PLXDC2 locus were first reported as risk factors for T2D patients with retinopathy 19 and showed nominally significant ( P < 0.05) association with severe DR (≥severe NPDR or history of panretinal photocoagulation) for T1D patients.
At 14 dpi, dynamics shifted and WT mice showed a statistical trend towards an increase of TNF-α mRNA expression compared to CLEC12A −/− mice ( p = 0.05, Fig. 4 A), likely related to prolonged virus infection in WT mice.
However, a clear trend toward longer survival with low-NEO status was noticed, especially in the PEMBRO subgroup (27.8 vs. 16.2 months, p = 0.05, Fig.
In addition, while the AUC of DNI in patients with USG abnormalities was borderline significant ( P = 0.05) it was nearly comparable to that of CRP, both of which being much more significant than either the WBC count and ESR.
However, codY had an increasing trend during the log and stationary growth phases in strain CT-43 (2.0-, 5.3-, and 18.0-fold compared with the LS phase, P < 0.05, T-test).
Correlations of factor 5 are either marginally significant (PSD: p < 0.05) or not significant (PC).
In parallel, both TNF-α and MCP-1 levels were elevated by 2-fold in the plasma, though the change in MCP-1 fell short of significance (TNF-α: Control = 40.3 ± 7.3, UFP = 95.2 ± 23.1 pg/mL, n = 7, p < 0.05; MCP-1: Control = 334.2 ± 33.3, UFP = 653.7 ± 160.9 pg/mL, n = 7, p = 0.08) ( Fig. 4A,B ).
Analyses of isolation by distance and connectivity including only the invading populations indicated a low but almost significant level of isolation by distance (r = 0.165; P = 0.05).
Out of 19,927 genes included in analysis, 613 were nominally significant between randomization groups (Fig. 4 A; p < 0.05), of which 313 were up-regulated and 300 down-regulated in the placebo-smokers versus the vitamin C-smokers.
In the control group, potassium peaked during the reperfusion phase (5.70 ± 0.40 mmol/L), although this temporal increase did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.050).
Importantly, there was no significant interaction between congruency, block and experiment, p = 0.10, and only a marginally significant interaction between RT, block and experiment, χ2 (2) = 6.00, p = 0.050.
Two-way ANOVA showed no main effect of locomotion (F (1,7) = 4.05, P = 0.084) but revealed a marginally significant locomotion × frequency interaction (F (1,7) = 5.59, P = 0.050).
Results obtained showed that LOXL2 levels were significantly elevated in the serum of obese animals at 9- ( p < 0.01), and 11-weeks ( p < 0.01) when compared to age-matched controls, whereas serum levels at 6-, 14- and 16-weeks showed an increasing trend ( p > 0.05) (Fig. 3 A).
Tukey-Kramer Multiple Comparisons Test was used to compare means between groups where p < 0.001(***) was considered extremely significant, p < 0.01(**) slightly significant and p > 0.05 (ns) considered as non-significant.
There was a highly significant difference ( p < 0.05) in the crude fat percentages observed in the interaction of sorghum with rice, sorghum with teff , and rice with teff , as shown by the linear and quadratic models (R2 = 0.9733) (Table 2 ).
Regarding the ASI, subjects with the G/G genotype showed higher ASI levels than those with the T/T genotype with marginal significance (19.78 ± 11.90 vs. 15.48 ± 9.59, P = 0.05).
However, NS 9 showed a slight significance (p < 0.05) increase in latency time at 3 h after which the latency began to decline.
Similarly, root length showed significant interactions for Y × G ( p < 0.001) and G × F ( p < 0.001), as well as a marginally significant three-way interaction, Y × G × F ( p < 0.05).
This impairment was notably mitigated following HFs treatment, with a highly significant reduction in escape latency observed( P < 0.05).
Conversely, height and BMD levels show a decreasing trend in this group ( P < 0.05).
