On the social novelty trial, baseline (pretreatment) social novelty index scores revealed a marked trend toward a social familiarity preference in the aged group, confirming the pattern observed in Experiment 1 ( Fig. 6 A ). iTBS had no effect on social novelty in either the young or aged group overall and, moreover, no effect on the aged rats when the results were stratified by memory status, documented in the water maze (Extended Data Fig. 5-1 C , D ). 10.1523/ENEURO.0422-25.2025.f5-1 Fig 5-1 Effects of sham and TMS treatment on sociability and social novelty index scores in aged rats subgrouped according to hippocampal memory in the water maze.
Compared with the 2010 measurement by Warner et al.,(2013)—when the water table stood at about 12.00 m 37 with a mean electrical conductivity of 2 376 μS/cm and mean TDS of 1 751 mg/L—the 2022 survey reveals a marked trend toward both drawdown and salinization: the average depth has increased to 19.39 m, mean EC has risen to 4 590 μS/cm (an increase of 93%), and mean TDS has climbed to 4.31 g/L (an increase of 146%).
Reactions that use either indazole boronic acid 2a or boronic ester derivative 2b perform significantly better (under the conditions tested), sharing similar reactivity. Irrespective of the choice of the organoboron derivative, there is a marked trend in (pseudo-) haloquinoline choice – the worst performing substrate being 6-Cl-Q 1a , with its strong carbon-chloride bond (oxidative addition being more challenging , ).
Table 2 shows that the modularity index of the GIOTN underwent phased changes from 2000 to 2023: it rose gradually from 0.30 in 2000–2006 to 0.49, indicating strengthened intra‐community ties and weakened inter‐community links, with early signs of regional clustering; declined progressively to 0.06 in 2006–2014, reflecting enhanced inter‐community connectivity and greater trade network integration; peaked at 0.50 in 2015, when the network split into multiple highly autonomous trade communities, underscoring a marked trend toward regional cooperation; fell back to 0.08 in 2015–2020 as inter‐community links intensified and the network reintegrated, demonstrating the resilience of globalization; and rose again in 2021–2023, signaling stronger intra‐regional cluster connectivity in the post‐pandemic era and the reemergence of regional cooperation as a dominant feature.
Introduction Closed reduction (CR) is one of the most common procedures for treating late-detected developmental dislocation of the hips (DDH) ( 1 ), considering a marked trend toward spontaneous improvement of the hips after reduction ( 2 - 4 ).
With the aid of solid-state SQUID magnetometry, we observed a marked trend of lesser antiferromagnetic coupling when expanding substitution to the heavier chalcogenide congeners which we attribute to the ∠Fe–E–Fe angle becoming more acute due to decreased hybridization in the heavier chalcogenides and poorer orbital overlap with Fe II d-orbitals.
