Second, a numerical trend toward a higher prevalence of asymptomatic grade 1 pneumonitis at diagnosis was observed in patients with lung cancer than in those with non-lung cancers (61.9% vs 50.0%), possibly reflecting surveillance intensity variations rather than biological differences, as individuals with lung cancer typically undergo more frequent chest CT imaging for tumor response assessment.

In remaining subgroups, CAP score reduction at 6 months showed a numerical trend favouring EPL versus placebo (Figure S2E ).
