In a study conducted with healthcare professionals in Spain during the first wave of the pandemic, it was shown that nurses and assistant nurses experienced mental disorders at a higher rate, and a positive trend was found in those whose parents, children, or partners were infected by COVID-19. 32 As shown in other studies similar to our study, in the healthcare professionals working on the front lines of the pandemic, higher levels of anxiety and depression were observed in the vaccine group of older age, with the thought that the age group increases the risk, and it is thought that taking precautions and interventions accordingly may have a healing effect in terms of mental health and work efficiency of healthcare professionals.
