A slight trend in decreased mental health and functioning problems (most subscales of BASIS-24 and the IFIP question on symptom burden), and in increased recovery and quality of life (ReQoL, MANSA) were experienced in both arms, from 0 to 12 months, but all differences were non-significant.
Here, we established, for the first time, a facile assay for targeted quantitation of allelic variants at position 223 of SP-A, as well as relative levels of SP-A2 versus total SP-A, using as little as 1 mL of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. While there was no significant difference in relative SP-A2 as a function of 223 genotype, there was a slight trend toward lower SP-A2 levels versus total SP-A in the Lys223/Lys223 versus Gln223/Lys223 genotype.
In countries with AL policy, there was a slight trend that locations with higher estimated AL coverage among cases 11 (>20%) during the time period when Pfmdr1 SNP trends were measured showed more negative selection of 1246Y although this was not statistically significant( figure 4 , online supplementary table S1 ).
