In advanced NSCLC patients, neither the tumor stage nor the grading were able to accurately identify cases at higher risk of early disease recurrence, although a slight trend toward statistical significance was obtained when grouping according to the tumor stage ( Supplementary Table S4 ).

There was a slight trend toward lower risk of colorectal, liver, gastric, and breast cancer with AGI use (OR = 0.79, 95% CI 0.54-1.15, I 2 = 96%; OR = 0.89, 95.5 % CI 0.75-1.05, I 2 = 89.7%; OR = 0.69, 95% CI 0.36-1.31, I 2 = 55.6%; OR = 0.74, 95% CI 0.37-1.51, I 2 = 66.2%, respectively); however, these associations were not statistically significant.
