Variables demonstrating a trend toward significance with a p -value < 0.25, as well as those identified as clinically or biomechanically relevant regardless of their univariate p-value (such as age and surgical levels), were selected as candidates for the initial multivariable model.
Cox proportional models were conducted to select factors affecting survival significantly or with a trend toward significance (P<0.25) in univariate analyses and to determine independent prognostic indicators in multivariate analyses using a backward stepwise method.

Colorectal versus noncolorectal tumor histology had a higher frequency of local progression after SBRT with a trend toward significance (χ 2 [N = 26], P = .36).
Although this observed increase suggests a trend toward significance, the Kruskal–Wallis test did not yield significant results ( p -value = 0.3679), likely due to the limited number of pooled samples available for analysis.
While no statistical significance was observed between different FI states for observed ASV and phylogenetic diversity, we noted a trend toward significance for elevated richness and phylogenetic diversity with FI ( P ≥ 0·369; Figure 5 (c)–(d)).
Stage IIIB also showed a trend toward significance ( p = 0.380).
Unlike the effects observed on mechanical and cold sensitivity, treatment with the CBD‐enriched extract did not significantly improve heat thresholds in the hot plate test in CCI animals compared with the CCI + Veh group at Day 21, although females showed a trend toward significance (males: p = 0.4454; females: p = 0.0503).
Although a trend toward significance was observed, it was not statistically significant (area under the curve: 0.60, p = 0.46).
Although none of the turns showed a statistically significant difference in the SM area ( Fig 5C ), we observed a trend toward significance in the apical turn with a large effect size (two-way ANOVA, interaction: F (2, 24) = 0.72, p = 0.50; Šidák post hoc test: p = 0.052, Cohen d = 2.05).
