The water flux reached the highest value with different rates, where AG and AD showed the lowest and highest ratios of water flux at 75 °C to the water flux at 25 °C, respectively. We noticed that the membranes with a higher flux ratio in the transition zone (25–75 °C) had a lower flux decline at 75 °C. The NaCl rejection had an increasing trend for all of the membranes when the temperature increased.
In the subpolar North Atlantic (Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Site 983, 60.4°N), during L5-1 the benthic foraminiferal δ 18 O values continued an increasing trend and finally crossed the 4.2‰ threshold, indicating large-amplitude growth of ice sheets 16 which was further supported by the occurrence of ice-rafted debris (IRD) at ODP Site 980 17 (Fig. 4 e,f).
