Although the interaction sex × session did not reach statistical significance, it was evident that the number of USVs decreased across the testing sessions in the male mice only [separate ANOVAs on the male mice: F (2, 18) = 9.59, p < 0.01; in the female mice:, ns; Figure 2F ].

In Δ7SMA mice, miR-133a and miR-133b showed an opposite trend, since both the two miRNAs were up-regulated at symptomatic disease phase (day 10), although differences did not reach statistical significance for miR-133b (as illustrated in Figure 1 B; ** p < 0.01 for miR-133a).

Regression Coefficient Interpretation As shown in Table 5 , two independent variables were significant predictors of professional values, while one did not reach statistical significance: Organizational commitment had the strongest standardized effect (β = 0.528, p < 0.01), indicating that it is the most influential factor.

Only one HAGOS-I subscale (Participation in Physical Activities) did not reach statistical significance with the OHS-I, while the remaining five had a moderate correlation (rs = 0.40–0.60; p < 0.01).

The NAA levels in the parietal lobe and cerebellum showed a trend for decreased measures in adults with ASD compared with those with TD ( P =0.01 in the parietal lobe and P =0.004 in the cerebellum), although these differences did not reach statistical significance after the Bonferroni correction was applied ( Table 2 ).

Increase was observed in total WBC and Th17 cells, however, Th17 lymphocytes did not reach statistical significance (p=0.01 and p=0.5, respectively).

However, these differences in variability did not reach statistical significance, the only exception being the inter-observer variability of the systemic right ventricular stroke volume (12% with CMR vs. 32% with MDCT; p < 0.01, Figure 1 ).

Although this difference was limited and did not reach statistical significance, the changes in NK cell frequencies in the peripheral blood correlated significantly ( p < 0.01) with frequencies of NK cells in SLNs of CpG ± GM-administered patients, suggesting a recruitment of NK cells to the SLN upon CpG ± GM administration (Fig. 2 b).

Although the reduction in SELE mRNA expression levels in the Cur treatment group did not reach statistical significance, Fe-Cur CPs effectively suppressed SELE expression at the mRNA level (P < 0.01) ( Fig. 3 C).

This corresponds to an approximately four-fold increase relative to CIP, however, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.01).

However, the survival rate of mice treated at 2 and 4 dpi did not reach statistical significance ( p < 0.01) when comparing the entire disease course, but did when comparing the last 18 days of the disease.

The age-related association was also found in smokers with asthma but did not reach statistical significance in non-smokers with asthma (r=0.34 and 0.23, p=0.01 and 0.08, respectively).

It is noteworthy that IGF1 in modern pentathlon (MP) tended to be negatively correlated with all other proteins, especially after the fasting period, even though it did not reach statistical significance based on our predetermined threshold for discussion ( p ≤ 0.01) ( Supplementary Table S1 ). 3.2.

This did not reach statistical significance except posterior bundle ( p < 0.01), and showed similar lengthening/shortening behaviour (Fig. 3 ).

During sibutramine therapy, expression of miR-378 in SAT tended to increase but did not reach statistical significance, while in plasma, a reliable increase in the miR-378 level was revealed ( p = 0.01) ( Figure 1 C,D).

Associations between behavioral performance on the R-SPAN and CTQ ( r = −.163, p =.046) and PCL ( r = −.195, p =.017) (uncorrected) did not reach statistical significance after controlling for multiple comparisons (FDR corrected at p <.01 to control for multiple comparisons).

Although p values for the interaction terms did not reach statistical significance (p < 0.01) after adjustment for multiple comparisons, two SNPs in CD80 (rs7630595, rs1307124) and one in IRAK2 (rs263408) demonstrated p values of borderline significance (p = 0.02 to 0.03) for the interaction with endotoxin exposure (Table 4 ).

This difference did not reach statistical significance but is comparable to the effect of cell therapy found in the larger randomized and blinded REPAIR-AMI trial (2.5%, p = 0.01) and in the meta-analysis [ 60 , 61 ].

The effect of gender, age, distance from home to health center, or comorbidity on fifth visit attendance did not reach statistical significance in logistic regression analysis for patients with epilepsy ( Table 4 ), although when all patients were analyzed the effect of distance on fifth visit attendance was highly significant ( p < 0.01). 4 Discussion Our study is one of the first to characterize demographics, service use and follow-up, and treatment patterns for patients with epilepsy receiving care in primary care settings in rural sub-Saharan Africa.

However, the observed difference did not reach statistical significance ( p < 0.01).

Similarly, a moderate negative correlation was found between APLNR and VEGF (r = −0.46), although it did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.01), with approximately 20% of the variability in VEGF explained by APLNR (r 2 = 0.20).
