In the infants with confirmed CMPA, there was a highly significant reduction in CoMiSS from 8 (IQR 6–11) to 5 (IQR 3–7) from baseline to visit 2 (p<0.000000001), with a median reduction by −3 (IQR −6 to −1).
De novo MEME analysis (Figure S2A ) reveals that Round 25 aptamers overwhelmingly share a single, contiguous motif that extends across nearly the entire 40‐nt core, with RTAR and its closest relatives showing highly significant full‐length matches ( p < 10 −9 ), whereas the less enriched clusters display only truncated or offset hits to secondary motifs.
This increase in responsiveness with depth was highly significant ( R 2 = 0.70, p < 10 −9 , linear regression, n = 35 imaged regions in seven mice; Fig. 2 A ; Table 1 ) and was observed in every animal tested ( Fig. 2 A ; Table 1 ; R 2 > 0.79 and p < 0.04 for all animals, n = 5 regions per animal).

Not surprisingly, consistent with the change in σ B 0 Global given in Table 1 , significance testing on a per‐pixel basis (388,257 gray‐matter pixels, from n = 8 subjects) showed that the reduction in B 0 offset is highly significant (paired t‐test, P < 10 ‐9 ).
Per-dataset replication: The PCI-convergence association replicated across both datasets ( Table 2 ), with correlations ranging from r = 0.497 to r = 0.628, all highly significant ( p < 10 −9 ). φ-specificity parameter sweep: The correlation between generalized PCI and convergence peaked near the golden ratio.
The transcriptional changes in CE mice were statistically highly significant (ranging from p < 10 -9 to 10 -5 ), and involved ECM processes related to collagen synthesis/modification/assembly and intracellular signaling via the PIP2/PLCg/DAG/IP3 pathway.
When we compared the hu.MAP 2.0 interactions to the most co‐expressing pairs in Kustatcher et al , we see a highly significant overlap ( P ‐value < 10E−10, hypergeometric test) indicating a high degree of consistency between the orthogonal datasets. hu.MAP 2.0 complex map Once we confirmed our protein interaction network was of high quality, we then clustered this network using a parameterized two‐stage clustering algorithm to identify highly connected proteins which represent protein complexes.
Voxel values in these clusters were highly significant and two ROIs were created from the binarized clusters with a T statistic threshold T = 7.0 ( p = 1 × 10 −9 ) for the sensorimotor ROI ( Figure 1 B), and T = 5.0 ( p = 2 × 10 −6 ) for the subcortical ROI ( Figure 1 C).
While the absolute difference in GC content was slight, it was highly significant ( P < 0.000000001).
In particular, SII, SIRI, and dNLR exhibited highly significant differences between the control and both infarction groups (p<1E−9), suggesting their potential role as inflammatory and prognostic biomarkers for AMI severity.
The effects of each treatment are summarized in Table 2 ; Fisher's Exact Test indicates that all treatments and effects are highly significant compared to the control (p<10 −9 ).
One such QTL, lsq4 on chromosome IV, appeared in three different inter-strain crosses as highly significant linkage-mapping peaks for longevity (each P < 10 −9 ) (Ebert et al., 1993 , 1996 ; Ayyadevara et al., 2001 , 2003 ; Shmookler Reis et al., 2007 ).
If we regress the alt-allele frequency in reads from heterozygotes (y-axis of Fig 3B ) onto the estimates for both a and d simultaneously, both are highly significant as positive predictors of allele frequency (p < 10 −9 for each coefficient).
Together these show that four of the genes investigated ( HLA-C, IL12B, TNIP1 and IL23A ) show highly significant differences in expression levels between involved and uninvolved skin (all with p < 10 −9 ).
These comparisons were also highly significant ( p < 10 −9 for all tests, one-sided Fisher's exact test) for the control participants.
It was found that the proportion of the depressed elderly population in India (18.2%) was significantly higher than the rest of the world (5.4%) and this difference was found to be statistically highly significant (x 2 =770.4 and P =.000000001).
Furthermore, while V600E BRAF mutations (over 10,000 described) occur in a mutually exclusive manner with RAS mutations, four of the 34 kinase-dead mutants are coincident with RAS mutations, a highly significant enrichment (p < 10 −9 ; Fisher's Exact Test) that suggests functional interaction.
By another GEE, we observed the expected highly significant relation ( p < 10 −9 ) between the histology‐based and MRI‐based measurement of cortical thickness (see Fig 5 ).
