Fos showed a trend of increase with duration of SS toward the end of the light-phase in mPFC (Pearson’s correlation coefficient = 0.25, p = 0.23), indicating that the trend of Fos expression decrease with duration of sleep is specific to the VLPO-Gal neurons.
We also divided all patients by the type of first-line EGFR TKIs they received, and the second-generation TKI treatment showed a trend toward having the worst PFS ( P = 0.23; Fig. 4 C).
Analysis of the distribution of age at diagnosis (logS~age at diagnosis) of patients with REC-III variants showed a trend for a higher age at diagnosis for the subgroup with established IP variants (IP: median 15.2 (4.8–39.3) vs. no IP observed: median 8.5 (0.9–45.1), p = 0.23) ( Figure 5 ).
The results were not significantly different between the 2 groups in RCTs but showed a trend toward decreased risk in the deferred‐stenting group (OR 0.51, 95%CI 0.17‐1.53, P =0.23; Figure 2 ).
In contrast to previous literature on endometrioid endometrial cancers, SFRP4 expression was similarly distributed in all histological subtypes of ovarian cancer ( Figure 4 A ), although in plasma, patients with endometrioid ovarian cancers showed a trend towards higher SFRP4 expression (N.S. p = 0.23; Figure 4 C ).
Notably, CAPN14 mRNA expression in esophageal biopsies showed a trend of being lower in patients with familial EoE than non-familial EoE ( P = 0.23) (Supplementary Fig. 11a ).
The prevalence of γH2AX + cells only showed a trend of increase by 7 dpi at D35 (14% in control vs. 21% after HI, p = 0.23), but had returned to basal levels with even a modest reduction by 14 dpi at D42 (8% in control vs. 6% after HI, p = 0.005) ( Figures 2A,B ), perhaps reflecting enhanced DNA repair capability among the surviving population.
In the ACCI ≥ 6 group, although not statistically significant, patients receiving concurrent hRT with TMZ showed a trend toward a better OS than did those receiving Stupp (HR = 0.51, 95% CI: 0.17–1.53, p = 0.23).
The treatments showed a trend of improved blood glucose concentration at 120 min during 75 g OGTT (148.8 ± 21.1 vs. 142.9 ± 19.1 mg/dL; p = 0.23) and resulted in a significant increase of normal glucose tolerance (NGT) response in PA patients ( n = 13, from 23% to 38%) ( p = 0.0004, Chi-square test) ( Figure 7 A,B).
We also found that the convalescents that progressed with severe forms of the disease showed a trend towards an increase in the relative frequency of the NK + cells (adjusted OR: 2.32; 95% IC: 0.58–9.28; p = 0.2320) and a rise in the relative frequency (adjusted OR: 1.49; 95% IC: 0.37–6.08; p = 0.5790), and absolute frequency of CD3 + CD8+ (adjusted OR: 3.23; 95% IC: 0.95–11.0; p = 0.0610) ( Fig. 4 , Table 1 S).
Regarding other transplant outcomes, FLT3-ITD –positive patients showed a trend toward increased CIR (2-year CIR: 22.8% [95% CI, 21.8–23.9] vs. 15.2% [95% CI, 14.8–15.5], p = 0.233), as well as inferior OS (2-year OS: 70.9% [95% CI, 57.0–88.0] vs. 76.0% [95% CI, 67.3–85.8], p = 0.399); however, none of these differences reached statistical significance (Fig. 3 B and C).
