Even contemporary studies noting an increasing trend typically report 2-6% infection rates [ 23 ].

Again, over the course of the AY, we saw an overall trend of an increased number of likes, impressions, and engagements over time (Table 2 ).

Regarding mean age, a marginal trend suggested higher prevalence in older cohorts, but this didn't reach statistical significance (p=0.12).

In this context, we hypothesize that, although both phacoemulsification systems are safe and effective, there may be significant differences in intraoperative efficiency - particularly in terms of mean surgical time and ultrasound energy utilization - as well as postoperative outcomes.
