Specifically and in line with Hypothesis 1, there was a highly significant positive effect of ecological motivation on the perceived matching score ( a 1 = 0.47, 95% CI [0.39, 0.55], t = 12.03, p < 0.001).
However, linear regressions demonstrated highly significant relationships of age with YR ( t = 14.1, p < 0.001) and with LTH ( t = 9.4, p < 0.001), an anticipated unavoidable severe bias for which we have used statistical correction.
As detailed in Table 4 , the standardized factor loadings for the final model range from 0.594 to 0.905, and all are highly significant ( p < 0.001).
While the averages for “prison inmates” and “club practitioners” showed very different results for launched actions, kiais , and bows for “white belt” participants ( p = 0.062 for launched actions, p = 0.043 for kiais , p < 0.001 for bows; Table 4 ), “colored belt” participants had averages with highly significant differences ( p < 0.001 for launched actions and p < 0.001 for bows; Table 4 ).
Results The KMO test approved the sampling adequacy (KMO = 0.873), and the Bartlett test was highly significant ( p < 0.001), fulfilling the conditions for a factor analysis.
A highly significant main effect of vocals on arousal was observed, F (1, 96) = 1389.5, p < 0.001, indicating that songs with vocals were rated as more highly arousing than their instrument-only counterparts (Figure 2 ).
The parsimonious model remained highly significant, F (6, 5230) = 477.30, p < 0.001, explaining 35.4% of variance ( R 2 = 0.354, Adjusted R 2 = 0.353).
The preliminary EFA showed a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.967, and Bartlett’s test of sphericity was highly significant ( χ 2 = 15520.423, df = 1,176, p < 0.001), confirming that the empirical data were exceptionally suitable for factor extraction.
For each model, all the factor loadings were highly significant and larger than 0.65 ( p < 0.001; Table 2 ), indicating good convergent validity of the measurement ( Cole, 1987 ).
The condition effect for arousal was highly significant [ F (2,117) = 318.85, p < 0.001].
Experiment 2 Effects of the Time Setting on the Resemblance to a Smiling Face A one-way repeated measures ANOVA with TIME (10:10/11:30/8:20) as within-subject factor and RESEMBLANCE TO A SMILING FACE as dependent variable revealed a highly significant main effect for TIME ( F 2,22 = 155.249, P < 0.001, η 2 = 0.876).
However, there was a highly significant interaction between these factors [ F (4, 48) = 6.97, p = 0.001, η 2 p = 0.37].
The result showed a highly significant logistic component [ t (48) = 44.31, p > 0.001] consistent with the presence of a category boundary (Harnad, 1987 ) (see Figure 2 ).
As we can see from both Figure 1 and Table 3 , our model shows a highly significant and strong negative effect of Immigration procedural fairness on Lack of human dignity , β = -0.66, p ≤ 0.001, 95% BCa CI [-0.74, -0.53], with close to moderate coefficient of determination (R 2 = 0.43), large effect size (f 2 = 0.77) and large predictive relevance (Q 2 = 0.21).
The correlations between the four factors were moderately significant ( r = 0.396–0.611, p < 0.001, refer to in Table 7 ), the correlations between each factor and the total were strongly significant ( r = 0.683–0.846, p < 0.001), and the correlations between each factor and the total both for male and female student teachers were strongly significant ( r = 0.672–0.867, p < 0.001).
A separate repeated-measures ANOVA for fixation count (log-transformed AOI 7) showed a highly significant effect of post type [ F (1,151) = 102.503, p < 0.001, η 2 = 0.404], indicating that 40.4% of variance in fixation count can be attributed to whether a post is sponsored or organic.
The only minor change was observed in the energy saving problem, with cued recall (Δ R 2 = 0.024, p = 0.075), verbal fluency (Δ R 2 = 0.042, p = 0.059), and knowledge/experience (Δ R 2 = 0.062, p = 0.012) all showing marginally significant or significant effects, but ideation fluency still contributing more than the sum of these effects (Δ R 2 = 0.168, p < 0.001).
Univariate test results revealed a highly significant and substantial main effect of Group on recognition speed [ F (2, 82) = 22.59, p < 0.001, ηp 2 = 0.355].
The relationships between all achievement variables were established to be highly significant and generally consistent across the 3 time points ( r = 0.62–0.77; p < 0.001; See Table 5 ).
Results and discussion A significant improvement in EWSE Following the 15-week teaching intervention, students’ overall writing self-efficacy significantly increased (M = 2.75, SD = 0.79) compared to pretest levels (M = 1.56, SD = 0.33), with a highly significant difference, t (19) = 8.32, p < 0.001.
