When tumor size was divided into quartiles (less than 15 mm, 15-equal/larger than 25.5 mm, 25.5 - equal/larger than 40 mm, and larger than 40 mm), only an increasing trend in mean DI18 by tumor size categories was observed among all women studied (p = 0.335) ( Fig. 2 a).

In order to exclude the possibility that the NLR trend was due to a concurrent bacterial or fungal superinfection, we compared the rates of superinfections among patients who had a positive trend with those who had a negative trend and observed that the presence of a superinfection was not associated with a higher NLR trend at admission (χ 2 (1, N = 469) = 0.45, p = 0.6) ( Fig. 4 ).

However, at 30W, the shaking group approached significance, suggesting a weak difference ( Table 1 ): 8W [χ 2 (1) = 0.243, p = 0.622, φ = 0.093], 20W [χ 2 (1) = 1.474, p = 0.225, φ = −0.229] and 30W [χ 2 (1) = 3.743, p = 0.053, φ = −0.366].

Similarly, patients of HIVLD having APOB 12669AA and 12669GA genotypes in the presence of impaired triglyceride level showed a trend of risk for severity of HIVLD (P = 0.77, OR = 2.91; P = 0.25, OR = 3.64).

The complete non-responders showed a trend toward even higher rates of intrapartum cesarean delivery (36.36% vs 30.77%, P = 0.819).

Similarly, dissolved oxygen had a negative effect on the detection of Campylobacter although the relationship is not significantly significant (p = 0.998, OR = 0, b = −22.78).

Root-to-shoot ratio (R:S ratio) The results indicated a clear trend in root-to-shoot ratios (R:S) across different hydrogel treatments ( Table 1 , Fig. 9 A).

HPLC validation tests affirm a decreasing trend in harpagoside and cinnamic acid levels between first and third-grade samples.

Based on our analysis, the hazard ratios (HR) of the 32 genes were highly significant ( Fig. 4 c).

For female triathletes, the influence of swimming on overall performance also changes more and shows an increasing trend, but the degree of influence is always smaller than the influence of cycling and running on overall performance.

The results showed that the athletes’ performances demonstrated a slight trend of improvement with the decrease in temperature, among which the running performance improved more.
