Excerpts
There was a highly significant difference in the ORR (72% versus 40%, p < 0.001) and the CR rate (19% versus 1%) ( Table 1 ).
Two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) or Student’s t test was used in the analysis, indicated by the figure legends (* p < 0.05, significant; ** p < 0.01, highly significant; *** p < 0.001, extremely significant).
Genotype, treatment, and genotype × treatment (G × T) effects were highly significant ( p < 0.001) for SFW, SDW, and PH, while Chl b was significant at p < 0.01 for genotype, while treatment was significant at p < 0.5.
Differences between the clusters were highly significant for all parameters by ANOVA ( p ≤ 0.001), and significant differences were seen between Cluster 1 ( n = 26), Cluster 2 ( n = 59) and Cluster 3 ( n = 57) by Bonferroni post hoc test ( p ≤ 0.01), except for transferrin and serum iron.
In contrast, stage B HF patients exhibited a highly significant increase in MMP3 staining score compared to controls ( p < 0.001).
Differences were classified as significant (* p < 0.05), very significant (** p < 0.01) and extremely significant (*** p < 0.001) (GraphPad Prism 7, GraphPad Software Inc., San Diego, CA, USA).
Regarding the treatment, E2-induced reduction in infarct volume was extremely significant in the cortical region ( p < 0.001) and, to a smaller extent, in the subcortical region ( p < 0.05). 2.2.
Similar to the combination of testosterone + finasteride, the group with the combination of both drugs also showed a highly significant increase in AR in the stroma ( p < 0.001).
The difference between population-wide asymmetries of DnaA and DNA (DAPI or HU) concentrations is highly significant ( p < 0.001) when cells are aligned according to the HU or DAPI content.
On the other hand, when correcting for gestational age, in the preterm babies an overall trend of diminishing the percentile was found for all three features ( p < 0.001 in all cases).
After 48 h, it is possible to observe an increasing trend in the proportion of cells with Annexin V-FITC (39.4%, p < 0.001) and double staining (35.7%, p < 0.001) when compared to 24 h of incubation ( Figure 6 B,C).
A statistically highly significant negative correlation between the score difference and the experimental measurements (log 10 K a app ratio, see Method 4.7) was obtained (Pearson’s r = −0.93, p < 0.001) suggesting that as relative affinity of the WT over the MT variant increases (log ratio will increase), the predicted score difference decreases ( Figure 6 B).
In particular, the T0–T2 comparison was highly significant and showed an increasing trend ( p ≤ 0.001), while T0–T1 ( p = 0.063) and T1–T2 ( p = 0.072) showed trends toward significance, also in an increasing direction.
After the removal of this outlier, the correlation between the RLAs still remained highly significant (r = 0.84, p < 0.001).
The T0-T2 comparison was highly significant ( p ≤ 0.001), and T1-T2 also showed a significant difference ( p = 0.007), whereas T0-T1 did not reach significance ( p = 0.219).
For both immunogenic stimuli, the results showed a statistically highly significant increase in the transcripts of the pro-inflammatory IL-6 ( Figure 1 A, p < 0.001) and IL-8 ( Figure 1 B, p < 0.001).
Cis/Fen/Az-treated mice showed a highly significant difference in survival when compared to all other groups, on average they survived 27.44 days ( p < 0.001), whereas Cis/Fen- and Cis/Az-treated mice registered an average survival of 16.3 and 17.25 days respectively, thus only slightly longer and with no statistical significance when compared to treatment with cisplatin alone (14.7 days) ( Figure 1 C,D).
Concerning the other repeat families, highly significant ( p -value < 0.001) correlations were found in dinucleosomal cfDNA for L1HS with troponin and for ALR with Nt-proBNP.
After incubation for 72 h, a dose-dependent increase in ARPE-19-LGALS1 −/− cell proliferation was observed, which was most pronounced and highly significant following incubation with 100 ng/mL hr-galectin-1 (83.6 ± 2.3%; p < 0.001) when compared to untreated galectin-1-deficient ARPE-19 cells (65.8 ± 0.8%; Figure 3 B).
After adjusting for age and sex (Model 2), the OR slightly increased to 2.11 (95% CI: 1.83–2.43), and the association remained highly significant ( p < 0.001).
Kaplan–Meier analysis revealed pronounced survival differences, with CON4 and CON1 showing highly significant log-rank tests ( p < 0.001 for both), where high-activity groups had substantially shorter median survival (32.4 vs. 65.5 months for CON4; 30.5 vs. 56.6 months for CON1) ( Figure 4 E,F).
Differences were considered nonsignificant for p > 0.05, significant (*) for p < 0.05, very significant (**) for p < 0.01 and extremely significant (***) for p < 0.001.
Particularly, the Tajima’s D values of BnaFBA1b and BnaFBA8a reached extremely significant levels ( p < 0.001 and p < 0.0001).
Moreover, there were extremely significant differences of measured indicators at tested concentrations, except CL at 50 μM, between the sample and model groups ( p < 0.001).
