The statistically significant predictors of the primary endpoint at univariate analysis are presented in Table 2 (univariate analysis showed a trend towards statistical significance of the cardiopulmonary bypass time parameter for the primary endpoint, p = 0.07).
Pairwise comparisons showed a significant difference between the mitigation and risk groups ( p < 0.001), as well as between the intermediate and risk groups ( p < 0.001), while the comparison between the mitigation and intermediate groups showed a trend toward statistical significance ( p = 0.07). 4.
We found a positive trend between t1⁄2 and creatinine at 24 (ρ = 0.176, p = 0.07) and 72 h (ρ = 0.223, p = 0.053), although it did not reach statistical significance.
Intraoperative morphine and morphine administered in the recovery room were significantly associated with CRBD ( p = 0.01); borderline significance was found for the association between surgery duration or blood loss and CRBD ( p = 0.07; see Table 2 ).
The permutation linear mixed effect model run over the average values in this time-window revealed marginally significant differences both for the low (estimate = −0.08, sd = 0.06, t = −1.29, p = 0.07) and for the high noise levels (estimate = −0.08, sd = 0.06, t = −1.32, p = 0.06).
At multivariate analysis ( Table 2 ), only age ≥60 years and the presence of a disability were associated with an increased risk of sarcopenia (OR = 3.3; CI 1.4–7.7, p = 0.005; OR = 3.0; 95% CI 1.2–7.9, p = 0.01, respectively), while a higher CRP value almost reached statistical significance ( p = 0.07).
When valine was analyzed as HR per 1 SD increase, the risk of newly developing type 2 diabetes was close to significance (HR 1.13 (95% CI: 0.98, 1.29) per 1 SD increment, p = 0.07) in the fully adjusted model ( Supplemental Table S1 ).
13.3 months (HR 2.36, 95% CI, 1.00–5.56, p = 0.04)) while a trend toward significance was observed in younger patients (median survival 99 months vs. 36.7 months in younger patients (HR 2.24, 95% CI, 0.92–5.45, p = 0.07)).
While this suggests a positive trend, the lack of statistical significance ( p = 0.07) likely reflects the limited sample size and the retrospective design.
The demographic characteristics of the patient cohort are described in Table 1 ; both groups were comparable, albeit with a slight trend towards high blood pressure as a comorbidity in patients who were hospitalized during follow-up appointments ( p = 0.07).
There was a trend towards significance for the oncomir miR-375 , which was upregulated in patients with prostate cancer ( p = 0.07). 3.2. miRNAs as a Predictive Marker of Prostate Cancer Of the 12 miRNAs investigated, four miRNAs were able to distinguish those with prostate cancer ( n = 75) from those without ( n = 27).
Both groups had comparable duration of ICU stay, but patients in the loading group showed a trend towards longer overall hospital stay (14.0 vs. 11.1 days, p = 0.07).
In the low-SDF group (<20%), AO results showed a negative trend with progressive motility ( r = −0.397, p = 0.127) and a positive trend with the proportion of top-quality embryos ( r = 0.485, p = 0.07).
Analysis Stratified by LV Unloading Technique As secondary analysis, we assessed the impact of the different unloading techniques on mortality and weaning: 5 studies (382 patients) reported on LV unloading by direct LV venting catheters: a statistical trend of 32% reduced mortality risk was demonstrated for ECMO + LV venting as compared to ECMO alone: RR (95%CIs): 0.68 (0.45–1.03); p = 0.07; I 2 = 28%; Figure A12 and Table A5 .
Post-op echocardiography revealed a near-significant higher incidence of grade I MI in the non-obese group (obese: 27 [13.7%] vs. non-obese: 148 [20.0%], p = 0.07), while grade II or higher MI and MS were rarely observed in both groups. 3.3.
In addition, there was a borderline significant difference in the incidence of composite ischemic events between the two regimens (9.2% vs. 5.8%; HR: 1.62; 95% CI: 0.96–2.74; p = 0.07).
However, there was a notable trend toward significance at the margin of the threshold because the 4b/4b genotype ( p = 0.07) and the 4b allele ( p = 0.06) were represented at a higher frequency in patients with severe COVID-19 than in those with mild disease ( Table 5 ).
In addition, patients carrying strong cytoplasmic NANOG expression (score 2) experienced a higher progression to OSCC than those with negative to moderate (scores 0 and 1) expression, and these differences almost reached statistical significance (HR = 4.35, 95% CI 0.88 to 22.42; p = 0.07). 3.4.
Nevertheless, the RCT appropriate group with PS 2-4 showed an almost significantly longer OS than RCT inappropriate group ( p = 0.07 by Log-Rank test) ( Figure 1 D).
