A type-I error could possibly explain this unexpected and marginally significant result ( p = 0.049), or these observations may – at first glance – suggest that C. tamandua males are willing to undermine reproductive isolation.

1 . The estimates of net clearance of [ 18 F]FDG and glucose ( K * and K ) did not change in the placebo group (P = 0.53), but increased with borderline significance in the liraglutide group (P = 0.049), as listed in Table 1 .
Under the original threshold of ≥ 19/21, attitude/stance remained significant (OR 1.48, p = 0.001), and male sex was borderline significant (OR 2.66, p = 0.049).

3 B, β = 246, CI 95% = 85.8–406, t (39.00) = 3.01, p = 0.00455, p FDR = 0.123, R 2 = 0.173) that approached significance, and a negative relationship between peg board performance and cerebral WM FA (Fig. 3 C, β = − 377, CI 95% = − 741 to − 13.4, t (38.36) = − 2.03, p = 0.0491, p FDR = 0.663, R 2 = 0.0859), see Fig. 3 for these specific models and Figs. 4 and 5 as well as Supplementary Data for complete results.
4B show a borderline significant ( p = 0.0497) decrease of phage degradation in the presence of FSA as compared to control.
borderline significancep = 0.0497
Factor depth had borderline significance on community patterns (pseudo-F = 2.56, p = 0.0497).
In addition, there is a decreasing trend for soil moisture (p < 0.05) and an increasing trend for ET (p < 0.05), although less significant than the change in temperature ( Fig. 2c–d , Table S1 ).
XLF shows highly significant differences between CN and SAA mice (p < 0.05) in the parameters b 1 , b 3 , b 5 and t in [%] : SAA mice are characterized by a higher b 1 and lower t in [%] , indicating a shorter relative inspiration period.
Probability (P-value), P-value < 0.05 was considered significant, P-value < 0.001 was considered highly significant, and P-value > 0.05 was considered insignificant.
In parallel, both TNF-α and MCP-1 levels were elevated by 2-fold in the plasma, though the change in MCP-1 fell short of significance (TNF-α: Control = 40.3 ± 7.3, UFP = 95.2 ± 23.1 pg/mL, n = 7, p < 0.05; MCP-1: Control = 334.2 ± 33.3, UFP = 653.7 ± 160.9 pg/mL, n = 7, p = 0.08) ( Fig. 4A,B ).
The observed effects were highly significant (P < 0.05, control or EGCG vs . non-targeted and targeted NPs) in LNCaP, DU-145, and PC3 cells, suggesting that this behavior is general and not cell type specific.
barely missed significancep = .050
Interestingly, the flashlight benefit for distractors was also present on-screen, but barely missed significance ( b = −0.27, SE = 0.14, z = −1.96, p = .050), and contrary to the VR experiment, targets from the illuminated scenes were significantly better recognized than targets from flashlight scenes ( b = 0.44, SE = 0.19, z = 2.30, p = .022).
TP53 was marginally significant (FDR > 0.33 and p < 0.05) in many other cancer types, while MUC4 was in a few others.
However, corrected post-hoc comparisons showed only a marginally significant difference between pet and WSC dogs (z = 2.55, p = 0.05; Table S12 Supplementary Material ).
Gender was found to be borderline significant in univariate analysis ( p = 0.05) but not significant in multivariate models, which is in line with our findings regarding gender 31 .
For Experiments 2 (T24) and 3 (T23) the highly significant results gave evidence of a common phasing among animals (p < 0.002; Scheme 3, S3 ), while the Tidal T-cycle Experiments 5 (T t = 12.25) and 6 (T t = 12.65) each gave moderately significant evidence of common phasing (p = 0.05 and p = 0.01; Scheme 3, S3 ).
Moreover, in 3 of the 17 CpG sites linked to the DRD4 gene, associations with the Cue-P3 were nominally significant (p < 0.05) which can be seen in line with the findings of Albrecht et al .
However, the creatinine-unadjusted concentrations of 8-OHdG exhibiting an increasing trend with duration of work history ( p < 0.05), which may be related to the accumulation of pollutants in vivo.
There was a marginally significant effect of Group, F (1, 51) = 4.04, p = 0.05, η p 2 = 0.07 indicating higher proportion of congruent choices in the Deaf (54.2%) compared to normal-hearing participants (51.5%, Fig. 3A ).
The adequacy of the models was assessed using an analysis of variance, which indicated that the regression models were highly significant ( P < 0.05).
Of the 246 main meta-analyses, 56 variants within 45 different genes showed nominally significant genetic associations with lung cancer ( p -value < 0.05) (Table 1 , Supplementary Table S2 ).
Terrestrial water storage change (TWSC) showed a decreasing trend from 2019 to 2023 ( R 2 = 0.3636*, P < 0.05), which suggested that future expansion of the terrestrial water storage (TWS) deficit may occur.
The Cochran-Armitage trend test showed an overall increasing trend in the prevalence of DPN, DPVD, hypertension, DN, CI, lithiasis, DR, DF, and anemia with increasing age ( P < 0.05), while there was a decreasing trend in the prevalence of FL ( P < 0.05).
Throughout the experiments, infection had a significant (or nearly significant) effect on the clinical scores of CC019 mice ( p ≤ 0.05).
study 7 , 147 pQTLs (52.88%) were nominally significant ( P < 0.05) and accessible for comparisons.
