Albeit small, differences in genetic gains between FG and the other genotyping methods were highly significant (P < 1.0e-10) at moderate (20 to 50%) incidences, but not necessarily so at higher (5.0e-3 ≤ P ≤ 0.43) or lower (2.8e-11 ≤ P ≤ 0.11) incidences.
Excerpts
The difference between the fraction of paused and non-paused genes containing GrIn1 elements was highly significant (χ 2 = 82; P < 10 −10 ).
Relatively large and highly significant interaction effects were found in the gradients of WF ( β PD = 0.46, 95% CI = [0.33, 0.59], P < 10 −10 ) and R2* ( β PD = -0.47, 95% CI = [−0.63, -0.32], P < 10 −7 ).
This difference is highly significant statistically (P < 1.0E-10, Chi-square test).
Though a highly significant ( p < 10 −10 ) correlation between place field distance and cross-correlogram (CCG) latency was identified at the θ time scale ( S13A Fig ) with ρ = 0.30, the fraction of variance explained (R 2 = 0.07) was very low compared to the behavioral time scale correlation ( S13B Fig ) with ρ = 0.68 and R 2 = 0.46.
Initially, we restricted our study to SNPs present in both studies with highly significant p -values for T1D and RPS26 eQTL ( p < 10 −10 in both cases).
Notably, GO analysis of the 708 up-regulated genes did not show significant enrichment in any specific GO category, but the 733 down-regulated genes showed highly significant enrichment in several categories, with the top three (Benjamini adjusted P -value < 1 ×10 −10 ) classified as neural lineage related categories, including ‘neuron differentiation’, ‘transmission of nerve impulse’ and ‘neuron development’ (Figure 1D ).
The darkred gene module had a highly significant correlation between GS and MM with respect to both CVH metrics ( r = 0.39, p -value = 1.0 × 10 −10 ) and BDI-II score ( r = 0.62, p -value = 1.4 × 10 −28 ) ( Figure 3 ). 3.5.
All quantiles yielded highly significant P -values ( P < 10 −10 ), confirming that the inclusion of the frame force significantly improves model performance.
Among these, we identified 339 genes, the expression levels for which showed highly significant (Moran’s I Bonferroni-corrected P < 1e-10) spatial heterogeneity across cells ( Dataset S11 ).
Interestingly, we found that the rescue of the 259 upregulated genes was extremely significant ( P <<10 −10 ), while the rescue of the 85 downregulated genes was borderline with a chance event ( P =0.052).
A t-test comparing the means returns a p-value of 0.167 (no significant difference) while a 2 sample KS-test returns a highly significant (p-value <10 −10 ) difference between the two distributions.
In an ANOVA with gain treated as a continuous regressor, the group effect for channels was highly significant (middle, p < 10 −10 ); lines connect channels that are not significantly different in post-hoc tests at level α =.05.
Hypergeometric enrichment analyses showed that these overlaps were highly significant ( p < 1e−10), supporting a non-random and biologically meaningful association among these factors (Fig. 3 C).
5C ), and this difference was highly significant within an animal across within-sequence repetitions (Fig. 5D , p < 10 −10 , Wilcoxon Rank Sum test, n 1 = 162, n 2 = 1428) and across animals (Fig. 5E , p = 0.0079, Wilcoxon Rank Sum test, n = 5), as well as in single cells recorded in the ORR in 2p in the same animals (Fig. 5F , p < 10 −100 , Wilcoxon Rank Sum test, n = 765).
When plotting the solubility and disorder scores at neutral pH (pH = 7.0), a highly significant linear correlation was observed between these two variables (R 2 = 0.90, p < 1 −10 ) ( Figure 3 ), suggesting that solubility and disorder are intimately ligated in this dataset.
The top four most enriched terms among upregulated genes were extremely significant, with a p -value < 10 −10 .
Compared to the expectation under random assignment, this is an over-representation in this category of 40% in yeast and 29% in human, which is modest, but because of the large numbers, highly significant (both p<1e-10).
did not reach statistical significancep < 10 −10
Both fast and slow timescales of cross-correlations increased with the RF-center distance in both monkeys, but the increase in the fast timescale did not reach statistical significance in monkey N ( τ 2 : p < 10 −10 , τ 1 : p G < 10 −10 , p N = 0.36, two-sided Wilcoxon rank-sum test), possibly due to narrower range of RF-center distances in monkey N compared to monkey G (median d RF,N = 0.77, d RF,G = 2.08 dva).
First, we found that the relationship between mean gene expression and CAI was highly significant and positive, as expected (adjusted R 2 = 0.27 , P < 10 − 10 , fig. 5 A and B ).
In both cases the difference is highly significant ( P << 10 −10 ).
Indeed, we observed a highly significant enrichment of H3K9 methylation at 49 known 26G loci ( Vasale et al. 2010 ) compared to 100 random genes ( P -value < 1 × 10 −10 ) ( Fig. 5C ).
The first four inferred edges are highly significant (p<10 −10 for m = 1 to m = 4), the last one however to a much lesser extent (p = 0.009).
Numbers in bold indicate highly significant partial correlations ( P < 1 e - 10).
This indeed revealed statistically highly significant (p < 1e-10) overrepresentation of genes encoding cytoplasmic ( AtMDL2 ) and plastid-specific ( AtMDL1 ) ribosomal proteins (Additional file 4 : Table S2; sheet “overrepresented BINs”).
