The model achieved a highly significant separation of the overall survival ( p < 10 −26 , c = 0.65 ± 0.02, Fig. 2 b), with distinct survival trajectories across the three clusters.

The ANOVA results confirmed that the observed differences in Ct values for COX-IV i1 and COX-IV i2 were highly significant (F(2,83.71) = 132.95, p = 1.04 × 10−26 for COX-IV i1 ; F(2,84.89) = 280.32, p = 4.02 × 10−38 for COX-IV i2 ) (Fig. 3 & Supplementary Fig.

Gene Ontology (GO) analysis of the upregulated genes by miR-182 deficiency during RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis revealed highly significant activation of genes involved in defense response, in particular interferon-β response ( p < 10 −25 , Fig. 4b ).
When comparing lung adenocarcinoma vs healthy, the top MSigDB pathway, angiogenesis was extremely significant ( p < 10 −25 ), followed by proliferation-related pathways ( S8 Fig ).
