Post hoc analysis examining benefit from the KF-mSMT ® in the healthy aging group as compared with the mild cognitive impairment (MCI) group showed a trend toward significance ( p = 0.069), with a large effect size.
RCFT delayed recall showed similar associations in the precuneus ( β = 0.147, 95% CI: 0.078–0.216, Δ R 2 = 0.021, P = 0.001, FDR corrected), dorsal DMN ( β = 0.147, 95% CI: 0.078–0.216, Δ R 2 = 0.021, P = 0.001, FDR corrected), and posterior salience ( β = 0.120, 95% CI: 0.052–0.188, Δ R 2 = 0.014, P = 0.012, FDR corrected) networks, with a trend toward significance for ventral DMN ( β = 0.093, 95% CI: 0.025–0.161, Δ R 2 = 0.009, P = 0.069, FDR corrected).
Grip strength increased by 11.7% in the intervention group and decreased by 10.5% in the control group, showing a trend toward significance (t = 1.961, p = 0.069, 95% CI (−0.019-0.463)).
