The rs6427528 ( CD84 ) variant showed a trend toward benefit, but this did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.055).

In terms of anxiety rate, there was no discrepancy between groups at any assessment time points (all P > 0.05), however, anxiety rate showed a decreasing trend at M6 in CBSM group compared with UC group although it did not reach statistical significance (20.3 vs. 34.2%) ( P = 0.057) ( Figure 3A ).

Although differences did not reach statistical significance, CM, protein-rich fraction, and EV-UC groups showed a trend to enhance ASC migration (Fig. 4 B).

Finally, bacteria belonging to the genus Lactobacillus showed a trend for decreased abundance in the infected group, although this did not reach statistical significance ( P = NS).

The correlation between D13 and state anxiety showed a positive trend but did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.052) (Table 3 ).

Although the number of different T cell types did not reach statistical significance between the SSc‐ILD and Control groups, we observed a clear trend of increased Tregs in the SSc‐ILD group, while GZMHhi CD8 T cells showed a marked decreasing trend in the SSc‐ILD group (Figure 4C ).

Interestingly, the lower dose of modafinil (100 mg/kg), especially in combination with a higher priming dose of morphine (16 mg/kg), showed a trend toward enhancing reinstatement (although it did not reach statistical significance; Figure 1 , middle bars).

Furthermore, we found that AD‐ɛ3 patients were depleted of high‐impact variants in HCε4‐iDEAL genes (Figure S2C , blue, P = .015; K‐S test) compared to HC‐ɛ3 and showed a trend for enrichment of high‐impact variants in ADɛ2‐iDEAL genes, though it did not reach statistical significance (Figure S2C , red, P = .25; K‐S test).

When looking at TNM characteristics, we could see an increasing trend in free flap reconstruction in smaller tumors that corresponds to a lower T-stage, but this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.07) (Table 2 ).

When patients were categorized by weight change (weight loss > 1 kg, weight stable, weight gain > 1 kg), there was a numerical trend towards a greater increase in energy intake in those who had gained weight, but this did not reach statistical significance [ 21 ].

There was also a slight trend to increase of irisin with age but did not reach statistical significance.

The only exception was CD8 + T cell activation with NA particles, which showed a trend toward an increase but did not reach statistical significance.

PFIC responders showed a trend toward increased bile salt concentration and CDCA/CA ratio in bile after PEBD, although these did not reach statistical significance (Figure 3 ), but no increase in cholesterol and phospholipid content.
