However, one of these effects was nearing significance. 25 Being involved in decisions and discussing HT with a doctor were found to have no significant effects on persistence in two studies and a positive effect in one study. 48 However, being able to ask questions and understanding information, 10 self-efficacy in patient–physician interaction, 50 and receiving the right amount of support 48 were significantly related to increased persistence.

However, the difference for peer rejection was nearing significance and the effect size was moderate [ 34 ].

When comparing concussed and control participants, we observed altered rs-FC based on connection strength, again across the same prominent nodes of the network, the right SMG (p-FWE = 0.03) and the left AI of the SN (p-FWE = 0.06); the latter only nearing significance.
