When all preschool behaviors were included in the model simultaneously, the effects of hot temper, disobedience, and bossiness remained significant ( B s between 0.08 and 0.10, p s < .001), while the effect of bullying showed a trend in the opposite direction ( B = −0.05, p = .02).
When Robinson's study was excluded, DOACs showed a trend toward lower thromboembolic events (RR = 0.77, 95% CI, 0.61 to 0.96, P = 0.02, I 2 = 0%) (Fig. 3 ).
Another study [ 37 ] used a complex intervention consisting of health professional and patient education (written information, family history collection proforma), documentation (EMR documentation of referral for GC/GT and testing protocol pathway) and systems (scheduling GC appointments directly at gynaecology clinic) showed a trend towards the intervention for GC referral (+27.4 (95% CI 11.1–43.7) p = 0.02) and completion of GT (+20.6 (95% CI 5.9–35.4) and towards the control for completion of GC (-27.8 (95% CI -46.7 to -9.1)) and identifying hereditary cancer (- 17.9 (95% CI– 40.9–5.1) p = 0.17).
In the control group, however, age showed a trend with the change in duration of buzzing ( r = 0.45, p = 0.02; Supplementary Table S4 ).
A nonparametric sign test (Siegel & Castellan, 1981 ) showed a trend of decreased aRGR when 75% of tissue was removed (sign test: p = 0.02; Figure 5 ) compared to control and 25% removal treatments (Figure 5 ).
For those high-risk DDKTs that developed postimplant DGF (n = 6), quantitative imaging mass cytometry analysis showed a trend toward reduced tubular cells ( P = 0.02) and increased stromal cells ( P = 0.04) versus those that did not (n = 5).
While task-irrelevant thermal input tended to prolong RTs in the visual task under low load ( p = 0.033, q = 0.099), task-irrelevant visual input showed a trend-level improvement in thermal-task accuracy under high load (3-back; p = 0.020, q = 0.060), consistent with a potential cross-modal effect.
Results showed a trend to less dysphagia (p = 0.02) and less salivary gland toxicity (p = 0.01) at 6 months without differences in overall, disease-free, and disease-specific survival, as well as local, regional, and distant control.
However, the asymmetric feature in femoral neck BMD showed a trend of publication bias (p = 0.02).
Moreover, patients with appropriate ICD therapy showed a trend toward lower right ventricular ejection fraction (RVEF) (development, P = 0.02; validation cohort, P = 0.22), with no significant differences in LV function and morphology (all P > 0.05).
Patients after PFA showed a trend of higher uptake than controls, reaching the boundaries of statistical significance for SUV peak (2.43 ± 0.42 vs 1.28 ± 0.15 P = 0.02) and SUV mean (2.30 ± 0.46 vs 1.12 ± 0.08 P = 0.014).
The pooled RCT data showed a trend for higher miscarriage rate in the control group, which was statistically significant (RR 0.73, 95% CI 0.56–0.96; p = 0.02).
The total number of balloons popped also remained significantly associated with apathy, r(63) = 0.454, p < 0.001, and showed a trend towards a significant correlation with disinhibition, r(64) = 0.307, p = 0.021, after controlling for overall cognitive impairment (Supplementary Table 1 ).
Word-level comprehension subdomain significantly correlated with the IFOF (r = 0.723, p < 0.001), while sentence-level comprehension subdomain showed a trend-level positive correlation with the SLF III (r = 0.451, p = 0.021).
Similarly, RFS also showed a trend towards better outcomes for female patients across all stages, with a statistically significant improvement in stage 2 (76.4% vs. 88.1%, p=0.021) ( Fig. 3 ).
The non-randomized DAART trial (directional atherectomy and anti-restenotic therapy vs drug-coated balloon alone in the popliteal) showed a trend towards increased 12 month primary patency (82% versus 65%, p = 0.021) for the DAART arm (Stavroulakis et al., 2017 ), however aneurysmal dilatation was seen more often after DAART (although this was not statistically significant).
However, HLA-I ASE loss showed a trend towards worse survival in KIRP ( n = 264 cases; HR = 1.38, nominal p = 0.021; Additional file 1 : Fig.
Bipolar disorder polygenic risk score, childhood adversity and symptom dimensions BD-PRS showed a trend-level association with the positive dimension (β = −0.49, 95% CI = [−0.875, −0.102], p = 0.021) but no association with the negative (β = 0.09, 95% CI = [−0.288, 0.474], p = 0.654), manic (β = −0.19, 95% CI = [−0.582, 0.208], p = 0.387) or depressive dimensions (β = −0.20, 95% CI = [−0.585, 0.178], p = 0.330).
During RTS, nocturnal RMSSD of SRC athletes (Mdn = 77.74 ms) showed a trend compared to controls (Mdn = 95.68 ms, p = 0.021, r = −0.382, p adjusted using false discovery rate = 0.126) and positively correlated to “drowsiness” (r = 0.523, p = 0.023, p adjusted = 0.046).
In addition, the levels of cell-bound IFN-γ showed a trend to be increased with the combination of sertraline and RT, which was inversely associated with tumor weight (R = −0.607 p = 0.021) (Fig. 7b ).
Consistent with its link to proliferative activity, survival analysis in our institutional TMA cohort showed a trend toward shorter overall survival with increasing KIFC1 expression ( P = 0.021, log-rank test for trend; P = 0.053 for high vs. low groups; Supplemental Figure 4 ), suggesting that elevated KIFC1 expression may be associated with poor prognosis in SCLC.
Glycine levels determined by relative quantification showed a trend of higher levels in HER-2 pos compared to HER-2 neg tumors in the different ER and PgR status groups (p < 0.021 and q < 0.133 ).
All other investigated associations were not significant (for Ratingen Score, the 0–48-month change showed a trend toward more radiological deterioration in A-patients than in C-patients [ p =0.0212], which did not fulfill the predefined significance criterion of 0.0167 for this comparison, cf the “Patients and methods” section for details).
The results of this pilot study showed a trend of improvement over time in all categories, with LM showing a statistically significant reduction ( p = 0.0216), indicating better jaw mobility and fewer functional restrictions.
In PVF, we observed a statistical difference in the number of switches, and in SVF, MCI-NC showed a trend toward producing more switches ( p = 0.022 and p = 0.065, respectively; Table 3 ).
