uPCR demonstrated an insignificant trend with RANTES levels (ρ = -0.05, P = 0.51), whereas uPCR demonstrated a negative trend toward significance with EGF levels (ρ = -0.22, P = 0.001) (Fig. 3 B).

The lack of a significant association between malnutrition and sex (p=0.705) or animal contact (p=0.053) suggests that these factors may not directly influence nutritional outcomes in this cohort, although the trend toward significance for animal contact (48.3% exposure) and unprotected water sources (55.8%, p=0.030) points to environmental exposure that warrants further investigation in larger studies.

The electroacupuncture group ( n = 45) exhibited the greater rate of lesion closure ( n = 45) at 6‐week mark in comparison to the control ( n = 28), indicating the trend toward significance ( p < 0.05).
