As rocuronium has a rapid onset and its effect is rapidly recovered with sugammadex, there has been an increasing trend in recent years toward its use as an appropriate alternative to succinylcholine, which is the most important indication suggesting that rocuronium is a good alternative to succinylcholine [ 17 - 19 ].
