On day 173 in 2015, we detected a marginally significant positive dependence of g s and T r on soil water content ( P < 0.1; Figure 3 ), while the relationships between soil water content and A were not statistically significant ( P = 0.531; Figure 3 ).
Excerpts
In the case of the CO 2 experiment, a t-test conducted at the final harvest revealed that the actual shoot dry mass for the two treatments was only marginally significant (P = 0.10).
These genera showed an enrichment trend in ILN1 relative to ILN0, ILN2, and ILN3 treatments, and statistical analysis revealed a marginally significant response (0.05 < P < 0.1) of Ascobolus ( P = 0.059) and Iodophanus ( P = 0.063) to the combined treatments of cropping pattern and nitrogen application rate.
In contrast, several variables showed marginally significant trends (0.05 < P < 0.10): soil pH ( P = 0.071; Figure 3b ), non-photochemical quenching ( P = 0.082; Figure 3e ), legume abundance ( P = 0.077; Figure 3i ), and species richness ( P = 0.082; Figure 3m ) all exhibited slight non-linear trajectories.
Although some differences in accumulation of both the total hydroxycinnamoyl-malate esters as well as the individual derivatives were only marginally significant ( P just under 0.05), trending (0.05 < P < 0.10), or not significant ( P > 0.10) by the Mann-Whitney analysis, as discussed above, this may be due to including all plants containing the transgenes of interest in the analysis.
Genes were categorized into highly significant ( p < 0.001 and log 2 FC > 2), very significant ( p < 0.01 and log 2 FC > 1.5), significant up ( p < 0.05 and log 2 FC > 1.0), significant down (p < 0.05 and log 2 FC < -1.0), marginally significant ( p < 0.1 ) and not significant ( p ≥ 0.1 ).
The linear regressions were considered significant when P < 0.05 and marginally significant when P < 0.1.
While genome-wide association analysis identified 302 genes harboring at least one SNP associated with Lr20 virulence ( p < 0.05), a Wilcoxon rank sum test revealed that 36 and 68 genes had significant ( p < 0.05) and marginally significant ( p < 0.1) differences in the counts of non-synonymous mutations between Lr20 avirulent and virulent groups, respectively.
approached significancep = 0.11
Linear mixed-effects regression analysis was then performed on this normalized data, which found no interaction between ePPFD and percent FR for either species, although the interaction approached significance in cucumber (p = 0.11; Figure 6D ).
On the lowland Webster soil, the main treatment was nearly significant ( P = 0.11).
showed a trendp < 0.11
Expression levels of the gene encoding asparagine synthase (ASN1) showed a trend toward lower expression in nodules compared to roots ( p < 0.11; Figure 3A ).
It was found that cumulative CH 4 fluxes were marginally significant positively correlated with the changes in average NH 4 + -N ( P = 0.114, df = 49; Figure S3A ) and NO 3 – -N content ( P= 0.077, df = 49; Figure S3B ), as well as AGB ( P= 0.074, df = 49; Figure S3C ).
The effect of anther-stigma distance was not quite significant [ F (1, 4) = 1.98, p = 0.118], though this is perhaps not surprising given the small number of populations.
A two-way ANOVA revealed highly significant effects of both dose and exposure time (p < 2 × 10 - 1 6 ).
Plant heights followed an increasing trend up to peak values in the 16 th week (12-50cm) (F = 1.5, df = 5, p = 0.27) and 17 th week (30 – 63cm) (F = 1.7, df = 5, p = 0.21) during the seasons 2023A and 2023B, respectively.
MANOVA revealed highly significant overall multivariate separation between the prioritized and remaining germplasm groups (Wilks’ Lambda = 0.2816, F = 13.54, df = 13, 69, p = 2.89 × 10 - 1 4 ), indicating substantial differences in their integrated compositional, nutritional, and agronomic characteristics.
A clear trend was detected showing higher GPC for the T allele of TDsat2.i1.1 ( Supplementary Figure 8 , Supplementary Table 2 ; P-value = 0.30).The A-allele of the KASP marker TDsat2.e9.1 was greatly underrepresented; thus, its effect cannot be assessed using this panel. 3.4 sat2 is predominantly expressed in grains Comparative transcriptomics approaches are crucial in transferring biological information, particularly conserved gene functions from better-studied species ( Zuluaga et al., 2023 ).
The nitrogen content, the SOC, the carbon-nitrogen ratio, and the GWC across the six locations based on Kruskal-Wallis test were significantly not different (p=0.415) ( Table 1 ).
Linear Relationships Our analyses revealed highly significant correlations between pairwise genetic distances and resistance distance in Q. aquifolioides and Q. spinosa , but not in Q. aqu- West lineage ( P = 0.745).
Regarding Na + ( Figure 6C ), its soil content exhibited a decreasing trend regardless of treatment with either C. sorokiniana or the Bacillus combination, with reductions of 52.03% and 5.86%, respectively. 3.6 Effects of C. sorokiniana and Bacillus combination on soil microbial diversity and community function The alpha diversity indices of bacterial communities in soils subjected to different treatments are shown in the Figure 7 .
