Differences between means and grand means in concentration approached significance for mental preparation, t (6) = 5.5, p = 0.002, and technique, t (9) = 4.49, p = 0.002.
When examined separately (Figure 2B , gray curves), the effect of depressiveness scores was not significant in scrambled sentences on separation and loss ( z = −1.07, p = 0.14, one-tailed) but highly significant in the optimism set ( z = −2.96, p = 0.002, one-tailed).

The other three articles ( Jia et al., 2023 ; Jie et al., 2014 ; Liu et al., 2020 ) used the CFS, which had a large and highly significant effect size (SMD = -0.98, 95% CI: -1.63 ∼ -0.32, p = 0.003) ( Jia et al., 2023 ; Jie et al., 2014 ; Liu et al., 2020 ).
This was confirmed with a one-way ANCOVA comparing standard scores of verbal ability between children who do and do not report playing a musical instrument, with age, sex, SES, and VO 2 max as covariates: the effect of playing an instrument was highly significant [ F (1, 94) = 9.10, p = 0.003, partial η 2 = 0.091].
In the model H3, Psychological Safety (PSA) was equally highly significant in impacting Employee Engagement (EEN) ( β = 0.138, p = 0.003).
Crucially, the interaction was highly significant [ F 1 (1, 10) = 15.63, MSE = 0.065, p < 0.003; F 2 (1, 30) = 9.28, MSE = 0.075, p < 0.005] 7 .
