MUC1 Polymorphisms and Blood Pressure Status and Waist Circumference Our results demonstrated a borderline significant association of the MUC1 rs4072037 genotype with blood pressure status.

Our data revealed an association between the MUC1 variants and the studied phenotypes, and this association remained highly significant after adjustment for other phenotypes, suggesting no evidence of a causal relationship between these study phenotypes.

Of note, whereas the 6 h time point only displayed a tendency towards decreased liver damage in female mice, this difference became highly significant at 24 h after APAP administration ( Figure 1 c).

Similarly, there are variations in HLB development among citrus species [ 39 ], distinctions that may be significant and worth identifying because they may point to genes that should be targeted from an HLB-tolerant variety to increase resistance in a susceptible one.

In males, ST showed a trend towards an increase in spare capacity for each substrate over CT, but the values reached significance only for glutamine ( p = 0.04) ( Figure 5 B).

In addition, the treatment of rhEPO or hUCB alone also showed a trend of elevation in p -Akt at 21 d compared with the vehicle treatment group; however, the combination treatment of UCB+EPO showed a significant and dramatic elevation in p -Akt.

Several highly significant findings implicate abnormal TGFβ superfamily signaling in TGCT biology [ 33 ].

In this study, we first found that the GRP78 in synovial cells showed an increasing trend in an IL-1β-induced mimic OA microenvironment.

The differences to the solvent control DMSO were highly significant.

Pilot measurements of succinate concentrations in cord plasma from normal and GDM pregnancies in our laboratory showed a trend of succinate accumulation in the diabetic samples which was up to 100 μM in diabetic plasma (unpublished data).

However, differences related to the serological status were not confirmed in two large prospective cohorts, the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS) and Nurses’ Health Study II (NHSII), where the association between being overweight and obese and RA was borderline significant in both autoantibody-negative and -positive subjects (HR 1.37, 95%CI 0.95–1.98, and HR 1.37, 95%CI 0.91–2.09) [ 59 ].

Thus, the entropy factor is quite significant for SRT:RMβCD complex formation and seems to be connected with the release of water molecules that were originally installed in the cavity of the cyclodextrin and the desolvation of peripheral hydroxyl or substituted hydroxyl groups as well as the guest molecules [ 55 ].

Meaning that the risk may be significant at the discharge points (or immediate surroundings) and decreases as the PR-ENMs travel further away from the release point and upon dilution.

The differences between hybrid biotypes (F1 ET, natural ET, natural ETT and natural EEN) in the proportion of duplicated and nonduplicated pachytene cells was highly significant (generalized linear model with binomial error distribution, p .val = 13 × 10 −5 ).

Interestingly, we observed that carrying capacity (k) showed a positive trend that indicates phenotypic adaptation to the new environment ( Figure 1 C).
