In comparison to untreated cells or cells treated with 5-ALA or laser irradiation alone, MCF-7 and HepG2 cells treated with 5-ALA for 4 h and then exposed to laser irradiation for 4 min and PDT enhanced the percentages of cell death in a highly significant way.

The basal stemness marker expression seems to be higher for hPDLSCs than ASCs, nonetheless, both cell types showed an increasing trend in their expression after stretch stimulation.
