An increasing trend as treatment progressed in both the prevalence and severity of depression was noted across most studies; this trend generally reversed and declined post-treatment [ 16 , 27 , 28 , 47 ].

Concerning the quality of reporting of these RCTs has resulted in an improvement of the MCMS score registering a positive trend across the analyzed set.

As mentioned earlier, STRIDE-II advocates the avoidance of structural destruction and dysfunction of the intestinal tract, and improvement of physical function and QOL or ADL as long-term therapeutic goals for patients with IBD, so nutritional intervention in patients with IBD and sarcopenia is highly significant [ 16 ].

The prevalence of obesity in pregnant women in the 2020 German obstetric inpatient cohort of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Transparency in Health Care was 16.35%, with an increasing trend [ 1 ].

However, on univariate binary logistic regression, none of those variables was close to significance to enter in a model predicting all-cause mortality. 3.4.

Importantly, obesity is also associated with alterations in the gut microbiota and is another highly significant risk factor in COVID-19.

Subsequent univariate analysis for Shame yielded a significant interaction for Group X Time, while that for Illness Identity was marginally significant.

There was an overall trend of the odds ratios peaking in the age groups 40–59 and 60–69 years, declining thereafter in the older age groups across all examined outcome categories.

The latter exhibited an increasing trend at T1 (median 0.271μmol/L, IQR 0.062), T2 (0.276 μmol/L, IQR 0.071), and T3 (median 0.272 μmol/L, IQR 0.061) compared to T0 (median 0.235 μmol/L, IQR 0.0815), however without reaching statistical significance. 4.

It was also observed that, although the cases obtained an average score higher in the trait anger/temperament dimension than the controls, this difference was not statistically significant, but it was very near statistical significance.

For smoking-specific experiential avoidance, participants in the ACT group reported a gradual decrease in their AIS scores from baseline to the 12-month follow-up, while participants in the social support group showed a trend of increase.

Nevertheless, results showed clearly significant differences concerning delirium incidence in a propensity score matched cohort.

Furthermore, patients with a greater number of arteries with evidence of CMD showed a trend towards a higher percentage of mid-ventricular + apical pattern and towards a lower percentage of the limited apical pattern.

After adjusting for covariates, factors that significantly increased the odds of an unfavorable outcome at six months ( p < 0.05) in both cohorts were older age, lower GCS score, and higher CT burden (only marginally significant in the full cohort).

Although our primary outcomes do not show significant differences with respect to severe combined outcomes, a clear trend is seen, especially for severe combined maternal outcomes (12.8% vs. 8.9%) in the obese pregnant group (see Table 3 ).

Similar findings were reported in a meta-analysis of observational studies evaluating the association between early menopause and hypertension matched by age or BMI, with a pooled estimate being marginally significant (OR = 1.13; 95% CI: 1.00; −1.29) [ 6 ].

This study showed a trend of decreasing rSO 2 in the normocapnia group, whereas a trend of increasing rSO 2 in the hypercapnia group.

Intuitive Surgical reported an increasing trend for lease or usage-based schemes with them accounting for 38% of da Vinci 2021 sales compared to 33% in 2020 [ 16 ]. 15.

However, OR showed an increasing trend as eGFR decreased.

Additionally, a recently published analysis of this study group stratified by the modified version of the Charlson Comorbidity Index (mCCI) shows a similar trend towards a worse outcome of patients with high mCCI under medical rhythm control, which just failed to reach statistical significance due to being underpowered [ 24 ].

A slightly significant increase in mean and median sK values was observed during the 1-year follow-up period after the introduction of the first RAAS blocker, although the values were still normal (less than 5.5 mmol/L) in all but one patient.

At the follow-up, a moderate but highly significant correlation was found between the ICIQ-UI SF score improvement and the reduction in pad usage.

We therefore conclude that there is an evident trend towards poorer sleep quality among individuals with higher PSQ-3-FI scores. 4.6.

In the entire cohort and target therapy subgroup, Kaplan–Meier curves showed a marginal trend in predicting disease progression among patients with MTVlfn, TLGlfn, MTVsoft + lfn, TLG soft + lfn, MTVwb and TLGwb lower or higher than the median values ( Figure 3 for the entire cohort and Figure 4 for the target therapy cohort). 4.

In Table 2 , we reported the results of cardiac and inflammatory markers in the four groups: we did not find any significant differences (including in routine blood biochemistry, data not shown) except for IL-6, which shows a significant trend for increasing levels from group A to D ( p for trend <0.05, by Jonckheere–Terpstra test, Table 2 ).
