Conclusions Considering the data presented, there is a clear trend, which is consistent with the assumptions of the immunoseasonal theory: We can expect exacerbations of schizophrenia (symptoms of psychosis) under conditions of reduced sunlight and, in some studies, decreased atmospheric pressure, more likely in summer.
In our multivariable model, patients who received a selinexor-based regimen in the line of therapy preceding CAR-T showed a trend toward reduced risk of death (HR = 0.08; 95% CI 0.02–0.46) and/or disease progression (HR = 0.40; 95% CI 0.14–1.09).
Other Pharmacological Therapies Trialled for PD MAOIs have so far failed to demonstrate a significant effect on apathy in PD, although a number of studies showed a trend towards improvement, which may warrant further exploration [ 72 , 73 ].
While the Ivabradine group showed a trend of improvements in invasive cardiac performance parameters during the 96 h treatment period, the control group experienced further deterioration in hemodynamic variables.
On univariable Cox proportional hazard analysis ( Table 2 ), time to PJK was found to be positively predicted only by total paraspinal CSA at the UIV (HR 0.74 per 100 mm 2 ; 95% CI [0.57, 0.96]; p = 0.02) though global tilt (HR 1.03 per °; [1.00, 1.05]; p = 0.09) and total paraspinal muscle CSA at the mid-L3 level (HR 0.94 per 100 mm 2 ; [0.89, 1.01]; p = 0.07) both approached significance.
Our preliminary results comparing between postoperative use of ROCK inhibitors and Muro 128 did not show statistically significant differences in time for corneal clearance or endothelial cell counts postoperatively but showed a trend towards faster healing and higher endothelial cell counts among the ROCK inhibitors-treated group.
The declining trend in obliterative surgery in Germany, in contrast to other data showing an increasing trend, can certainly be explained by the continued use of transvaginal mesh surgery with the goal of uterine preservation, which is appropriately indicated even for the older population, including those over 80 years old.
In the Kaplan–Meier curve analysis, the 2-year PFS showed a trend toward better outcomes for patients in the 60 Gy arm; however, the difference was not statistically significant (38.9% vs. 18.7%, p = 0.064) ( Figure 2 B).
The inclusion of five studies involving 1108 participants allowed for a statistical synthesis providing a highly significant OR for the association between atherosclerosis and CAP.
These differences were highly significant and support HSV’s advantage in morphological insights into vocal fold oscillations compared to stroboscopy [ 10 , 21 ].
In the same region, a similar observational study conducted approximately in the same era concluded that after a follow-up of 4 years, CTO recanalization not only significantly improved quality of life, in terms of physical activity limitation, frequency of angina and greater treatment satisfaction, but also showed a trend towards better cardiac survival and significant lower risk of MACE compared to that seen in patients with failed procedures [ 38 ].
[ 14 ] found a decreasing trend in all study variables (pain, ankle volume, and ankle ROM) between pre- and post-treatment values, proving that the use of different thermal modalities during the transition from the acute to the chronic phase of injury can be suggested as effective treatment options to reduce pain, improve ROM and manage swelling.
Results: The mean LGN volume (right—100 mm 3 , left—96 mm 3 ) and left lingual gyrus volume (6162 mm 3 ) were significantly lower in RPGR patients in comparison to the control group (129 mm 3 , 125 mm 3 , and 7310 mm 3 , respectively), whilst some brain regions related to other sensory information such as the left isthmus cingulate (3690 mm 3 ) and entorhinal cortex (right—1564 mm 3 , left 1734 mm 3 ) were significantly or almost significantly higher in the RPGR group than in the control group (2682 mm 3 , 960 mm 3 , and 1030 mm 3 , respectively).
Similarly, a negative trend was observed between exercise time and the JASMID scores (both quantity and quality), confirming that patients with strongly limited ADL had slower performance times ( Figure 4 b,c,e,f).
In his 2021 study, the findings indicated that while tDCS can positively affect EEG patterns, the effects are likely to be significant only after a long-term intervention of eight months.
In Poland, there has been a positive trend in recent years toward increasing the conservative treatment rate—defined as the ratio of teeth with properly made restorations to the total number of teeth filled and those requiring treatment [ 1 ].
Research has also demonstrated significant differences in insertion and extraction torques among different implant diameters, with an increasing trend observed for larger diameters [ 34 ].
While all dimensions of the SF-36 showed statistically relevant differences between the cohorts in the initial visit, they were only partially significant in the one-year follow-up and no longer significant in the two-year follow-up.
